The STARS Converge Upon RPM Speedway on FRI.

Crandall TX (4/30/13) by DarinShort.com. This Friday May 3rd at RPM Speedway
will be another night chocked full of non-stop racing, when the USRA Modifieds,
Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Street Stocks and North Texas STARS Series
are in competition. The USRA Modifieds also kick off the night with their March
29th feature race that was postponed by rain. Their make-up feature field is
already set.
The USRA make-up feature will be the first race of the night. Then we’ll jump
right in to the complete scheduled program of heats and features for USRA
Modifieds, Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks and North Texas
STARS.
Regular grandstand ticket prices ($12 for adults) and pit passes ($30 for all
ages) are in effect, with no driver entry fees in any division.
The regularly scheduled point’s races for the Limited Modified pays $500 to
win, the Factory Stock pays $300 to win and the Street Stock pays $400 to win.
Each USRA Modifieds pay $600 to win and $100 to start. Complete payback is
listed at the track website (link below).
Reminder that effective last week, we have earlier starting times:
PIT GATE OPENS at 5:30pm
GRANDSTANDS OPEN at 6pm
MANDATORY* WHEEL PACKING 7pm (ALL CARS, ALL CLASSES)
DRAW CUT OFF & HOT LAPS at 7:30pm SHARP
FIRST GREEN FLAG is at 8pm SHARP
*Mandatory Wheel Packing from 7-7:30 for all cars in all classes. If your car
does not wheel pack by 7:30 (at the time of the draw cutoff), you will start
your heat race at the tail of the field and there are no passing points for
those drivers. This applies to all drivers in all race divisions.
If you were a non-qualifier for any of the race divisions on April 26th, you
will have one free pit pass waiting for you at the pit gate for May 3.
Make plans now to join us this Friday night, May 3; it’s going to be another
great night of racing on the newly reconfigured racing surface that has
produced great side by side racing in all classes…and you’ll find it all at RPM
Speedway in Crandall, TX!
