Yet, beats the Outlaws champion by over 7 seconds at the Gold Cup, on a 1/4 mile track.

A follow up question...Does the California Penal System have an AP that I could follow Live Timing and Scoring for the Ankle Bracelet Outlaw...?... :/
Opinions may vary...

What a great track and video of the race! I love to see how different the tracks in PA are compared to here in CA! It's amazing to see how close the houses are to the back stretch and I bet they don't complain about the noise like the people here do! No curfew right? The only track I have been to in PA is Lernerville and there was no curfew!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

It's a bad fast half mile...The new clay is amazing...Very similar to Hagerstown's...My favorite spot is in the infield, right on the fence, atop of a 2'step ladder, at the entrance to turn three...
They voluntarily use mufflers as to minimalize noise levels and on most race nights, activities wind down by 10PM...
I've been to Lernerville on many occasions, due to the fact that I have a mother in law 20 minutes south of there, but Port Royal is much better in my opinion...
If you ever get a chance, it's defiantly worth the trip...
Opinions may vary...

I was impressed by the no Dust with the new clay. I will make the trip up again this year. i like the improvements, still not changing my saturday night track though. In my opinion Lincoln still has MORE of the better cars in the field.

I believe the dust was more of an issue than the noise was for neighbors. Steve O'Neal and the new team has done a fantastic job with improvements and new clay which has reduced the dust levels significantly. The track now uses mufflers too in an effort to please residents. There is a curfew (midnight I believe) however a few of the bigger races get a pass...

I'll give some facts:
Larson broke a LF brake rotor in turn3 which caused him to spin.
Larson's tires were fine, he couldn't run as hard in the turns because he couldn't drag the brakes because the LF rotor was broke.
There is a handicap parking area in the infield in turn 4.There is NO restroom in the area. Complaint were registered. We will see if they fell on deaf ears again or not.
There was a dust problem years back with the town but nothing the last year or so. The houses in the background of the backstretch each receive 2 complimentary tickets to each race.
The curfew agreement is that no race will be started after midnight. Fairweek races are exempt.

Billy, my boss made me give him a hundred dollar non refundable deposit on the step ladder...It was well worth it to not have to look through the fence...
Let me know what show your attending @ Potomac so I can see if it fits within the confines of my schedule...
Your fan,
Stan

Without a doubt the best show I've ever seen at Port Royal.
