I think they had over 5,000 at Stockton but all the other places were lucky to draw 3,000.

The track that I know the most about is Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City. It is definitely a front gate track. Of the tracks mentioned above, it is only second to Sedila for seating capacity.
Right now, you can go to the SLS promotions website and look at a seating chart for the tickets for sale for the WOO show. Lakeside has around 3400 reserved seats. Each of their 6 sections has around 570 seats. Figure that the GA section has roughly the same amount of tickets and the most that you can get into Lakeside is 4,000. Assuming that you attendance rate is 80%, and you are looking at 3,200. Adult tickets are $35 and kids are $15. Just for grins, lets assume that your adult/kid split leaves you with a $30 averge. This leave you with $96,000 of the rumored $100,000 of the total cost. This is assuming a very healthy attendance rate and a very healthy ticket average.
On the flip side, lets assume that the weather is really crappy and your attendance rate is 60%. This leaves you with a front gate of 2,400. This time lets assume that there are many more kids than there were in the other example. Now instead of a $30 averge, you have a $25 averge. This now leaves you with $60,000 of the rumored $100,000.
In talking with a promoter in the past, he stated that one of the biggest misconceptions in auto racing was how many people actually attended the races. Very few people can accurately look at a crowd and estimate the number of people sitting in the stands. Everyone thinks that the crowd is bigger than it acutally is.
For those in the midwest, I suggest that you go to the SLS promotions website and look at the seating charts for the tracks that they have. If you have knowledge of the tracks you can probably come up with the total seating chart like I did for Lakeside.

It's a shame about the Spring race at Pevely being flooded out...
Equally a shame that the WoO can't run at Wheatland. That place is really, really nice

I know it's not Mo but is only a few miles into Kansas. Check out Lakeside in K.C. Great show every time I've went.

If you go there, plan on an hour just to get out of the place, more if a train passes on the only exit.

You can check out the MOWA at Montgomery County Motorsports Park on May 18th. They usually get a few bigger names at their races. It will be a good show at a very fast short track.

Grain Valley is way too small. Also, even though the USAC race was pretty good, the promoter has stated that it was a money losing show. If you look at the Valley schedule, USAC is not coming back in 2013.

Stockton had 10,000 legit.
The outlaws have more races scheduled this year than any year since the split. Clearly there is demand. I assume if there is a lack of races in Missouri this year and there is demand, 2014 may have a few more scheduled.
