Due to the canceled outlaw race on Saturday, does anyone know of any outlaw teams making the trek to Knoxville?

Could probably see Madsen showing up since he is based out of Knoxville with his shop. Hopefully a lot of them will show up though for a test and tune for Nationals.

I'd imagine you'll see a bunch on the way back from Oklahoma. Should be a good show.

logistically it makes a lot of sense for them to all come to Kville and race, but I highly doubt it.
Salina, OK on Friday, stop in Kville Saturday - depart for Eldora on Thursday for Friday/Saturday(if it rains out, stay in Kville and then drive to Elko, MN the following Friday for WoO then back to Kville for WoO.
My best guess on cars that MIGHT show up:
Madsen, Wayne Johnson (if he has motors by this weekend), Dollansky (and, according to another post above), Pittman, Darrah
I would imagine that Saldana will head to Brownsburg, IN to refreshen (remember they built this team from scratch in 2 months, they could use the time back in the shop);
Sammy will probably head to the shop in Memphis to get ready for Eldora;
Bill Rose (still injured last I heard) will take the time off to prep the car for Eldora it sounds like since Gravel will be in the family car;
Sides (may run @ Little Rock or go to the shop in TN);
Kemenah will probably head to OH to spend time with the family before Eldora weekend;
Steve & Kraig will probably head toward Bloomington following the Salina, OK race;
Schatz (wild card, he's ran @ Knoxville before on an off-weekend, but I could see him just heading home after Salina as well);
Kaeding (another wild card, I'd imagine he'll be in Knoxville, but depends on what other options are out there).

Another factor is Salina, OK weather.... looks like thunderstorms are likely Fri and Fri night. If it's an early washout, does that change anybody's mind??

Since the WoO had a scheduled race on Saturday up until last week (at Pevely), and you can never fully trust what the weather will do... guessing any contingency plan for Saturday would be very last minute... and not sure you can schedule a rain date on that short of notice??

I can't wait for Saturday. The first race of the season is always one of the best races of the year. I'm glad we get to see Gravel in his car. The car I want to see the most this Saturday is the Roth 83 with TK behind the wheel. He is my favorite true outlaw. I hope he makes the haul 7 hours north from the Friday outlaw show.

Per Joey Saldana's press release, Saturday has been declared the rain date for Salina in the event of rain on Friday night.

Well Salina Ks. weather is calling for thunder storms tonight in spots, and some morning showers for tomorrow. Sure am curious how this weekend plays out for the WoO. Either way I'm Knoxville bound..

Postponed until Saturday night. So much for hoping some of the boys from W of O would drop by Knoxville.
My wife told me if I went to one more Sprint Car race
she would leave me.................I'm sure gonna miss
that ol' gal.
