The Friday race is in Salina, Oklahoma, east of Tulsa, not Kansas. 423 miles per GoggleMaps.

might see a few stragglers show up (not much 410 racing that far South).
Must have tons of rain in Pevely to call it over a week before the race date....

The rain that fell in Pevely isn't the problem. It's all the rain from there north that is going to end up in the Mississippi. The buckets full you had in Knoxville as well as northern MO and IL will end up there eventually. The river gets over the road leading to the track and part of the parking lot as well. The Corps of Engineers know about how high it's going to get and when. Their forecast is for it to be over the road next week. They're usually not wrong. Unfortunately it's not an uncommon occurrence at Pevely.

Hopefully no one else's race track looks like this one @ Peoria, IL Speedway.
