Opening a new season always brings anticipation to the forefront & that is certainly the case for this Saturday night at the Antioch Speedway. With that on the horizon “KWS Tonight” presents a sit down interview with Sacramento’s Kyle Hirst, along with a preview of the weekend ahead.
Kyle's father Rick Hirst was the 1986 Northern Auto Racing Club Champion in the famed Duwayne Starr No. 18 machine. This year the younger Hirst will look to follow in his fathers footsteps as a King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series Champion and it all starts on Saturday night at the Antioch Speedway.
During the interview we discuss the excitement he has for the year ahead & also talk about his career in general. The driver known as ‘pickles’ captured nine main event wins last season, while driving for a number of different car owners, including a KWS triumph in June at Antioch and the final night of the Trophy Cup in October for Roth Motorsports.
