LoneStar “Thunder on the High Banks: Round 1” April 27th
Kilgore TX (4/18/13) by DarinShort.com. Round 1 of the popular “Thunder on the HighBanks” for RaceSaver® Sprint Cars is scheduled for April 27th at LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore Texas.
The
RaceSaver Sprint Cars are competing for a very solid purse of $750 to
win, and pays down to $200 for starting the feature (24th). There are no
entry, license or associationfees for the sprint cars. Complete purse breakdown and rules are posted at the trackwebsite under ‘resources.’
Plus, the Limited Modifieds will be racing for an additional $1,500 in purse money;making their feature event pay $1,000 to win! There is no entry fee for the Limited Modifieds to this event.
The
driver of the #13 Limited Modified, Robert Taylor and his wife Trisha,
are gathering up additional purse funds in the amount of $1,500 that
will be added to the Limited Modified feature event – which will now pay
$1,000 to the winner.
About three years ago Robert and Trisha
lost their daughter in a car accident that was partially caused by
texting and driving. At that time, the racing community provided their
family with much needed support.
And now, the Taylors want to
help bring awareness to the Don’t Text & Drive cause, and this
special event is the start of the process. This event plans to grow more
formally in future years. The complete purse breakdown is posted at
the track website.
It will be an action packed racing night of
racing in all three LSS points divisions, which includes $1,000 to win
Modifieds, $1,000 to win for the Limited Modifieds and $300 to win for
the Factory Stocks. Beginner Factory Stocks are scheduled ‘off’ on April
27th.
A complete event flyer has been posted under the
‘resources’ section of the track website as well. The current long-range
forecast shows a relatively dry period and seasonal temperatures of
around 80 degrees.
Here are some quick facts for the April 27th event:

411...is it just me, or are any of you having logon problems with the hoseheads forums?
Sometimes I can't logon through Firefox, but can on Explorer...sometimes neither...sometimes it takes me 6-8 times to finally get in, then I get error messages when I hit the post button. And it kicks me off each time and doesn't leave me logged in like it used to.
And, just like above, it jacks with all of my text formatting - which it never used to do either.
Anyway, just checking to see if it's just me or if others out there are having weird issues like this too; as I gladly take the time to put up nice looking posts that are easy to read, but what I submit is no longer what it ends up publishing. It does the same thing on the hoseheads sprint forum too, not just OK Tidbits.
