THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED THE APRIL 5th & APRIL 6th EVENTS AT LEE COUNTY SPEEDWAY & DAVENPORT SPEEDWAY!!!
Congratulations to Russ Hall on his win at Lee County Speedway.
Unfortunately MOTHER NATURE won Saturday night at Davenport Speedway.
I have talked to Bob Wagener who is the promoter at Davenport Speedway and
although he has yet to give me a reschedule date... he is reviewing his
schedule for likely possibilities.
AND.... THE BAD NEWS... I have also spoke with Mike VanGenderon, the
promoter at Oskaloosa and due to inclimate weather conditions he has had
to cancel his scheduled race for this week as well. THERE WILL BE NO
RESCHEDULE DATE FOR THAT EVENT DUE TO HIS LIMITATIONS WITH THE FAIRBOARD AND LIMITED AGREEMENTS WITH TERRY MCCARL.
So, in summary... the next race we have to look forward to will be on
Friday, April 19th at Independence Motor Speedway, Independence, Iowa.
Independence DOES NOT require mufflers and I will provide information next
week whether they will have methanol for sale during the event directly at
the speedway.
