how about a big shout out to Danny Smith, he now has won a race for 39 straight years, we all talk about sammy and steve still winning in their later years Danny should also be listed in one of the greats who still can win!

I remember when Danny won with the W of O's at Lawrenceburg a few years back and in Victory Lane said, 'what's the big deal, I was the track champ here'. The joke being, it was almost 30 years ago and he won it wingless, great, dry sense of humor and one of my all-time favorite people in racing!!!

Amazing what he has done without big bucks.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Plus coming back from the nasty 2010 Attica crash (broken back?) I love that picture from the very first WoO banquet with Danny, Sammy, Steve and others. They all look like kids. Man, I'm old!
