New to the forum - first post. Name is Jeff, living in Ohio, originally from PA, retired military, lifetime Keith Kauffman fan, been a fan of Larson since mid-late nineties when I watched he, Brad Sweet, Robert Ballou, Roger Crockett race outlaw karts at Red Bluff. Anyway, any news on Stevie Smith for this year? Has he raced at all in PA so far this season? Thanks, and I enjoy the banter on here!

Yo' Jeff, did you ever get to watch some of the races at Cycleland involving those guys as well as Kevin Swindell? There were some great ones back then, Brad Sweet used to kick everyone's @$$ at that place, you saw the talent ooze out of him back then.....

Many of you have been asking about plans for 2013. If you haven't already heard, there are no plans in place for this year. Unfortunately, the 19 car has been sidelined. Have an idea for bringing back the Bandit back? Let us know.

Only saw a few races at Cycleland. Did see a minispint race there that had the two Keading boys racing in it. Trying to remember a few others that raced the Outlaw karts. There a few others of that age and time who moved up later that I forget now, including the kid from Orville (Fowler?). I was out in Northern CA (Beale AFB) from 94 - 97. Some great racing, great talent (just in the karts alone). I love Ohio and PA, (and Indiana) but I'd give anything to be back at Red Bluff on a winters day, or a NARC GSC Chico race in that era. We were lucky to see these guys like Larson, Sweet, Ballou learning and racing hard! And BK, Kevin Pylant, Paul McMahan, Kent, Hannigan, Randy Tiner..........

Thanks. Wow, you'd think he could get a ride somewhere, somehow. Always was a fan of his (and his dad when I was a kid). I saw him get his 200th win last year, at Waynesfield during All Star SWeek. He and his wife were really nice to me before the race. I'd like to see him get back out there.

You'd think, but when guys like Shane Stewart don't have a ride either, makes ya wonder what's going on with sprint car racing right now. Seems like the guy that sat on the pole for the 410 nationals and the guy that won the 360 Nationals and finished top 10 at the 410 Nationals should have rides.

Hey, I know it sounds self serving here but . . . . I have every one of those races on video. It you saw Narc and GSC hightlights back then on Speedweek, Raceday, Rpm2Night, it was my stuff. Give me a hollar [email protected]. I can make you an attractive deal to relive that stuff.
MSPN . . . I just relocated that dash from 1993 that you mentioned awhile back.

Thanks Grove, I've actually have some of your W, F, & PF tapes...great stuff! I taped the races at Marysville and Grass Valley with my good friend Bob Burbach. Met and was helped by Dean Millls as well. With Dean`s generosity, I got to go to Perris and Ventura. Great friends and fans, and racers out in Cal.

One of Pennsylvania's top talents Brian Leppo also remains rideless a month into the season...

It is very sad that guys like Stewart, Stevie, and Leppo don't have rides this year. Guess it shouldn't come as huge surprise though with the down economy and an aging car owner population. Unfortunately I think the car count in central Pa is going to be low this year. Over the past 2 years we've lost the 30C, 17, 35, 44, 71, 88, 30, 25/77 (and the 1Z running a limited schedule) due to retirements and economic decisions. Don't know about other parts of the country, but I don't like the trend in 410 car counts in Pa.

Grove, you HAVE to post that Dash somehow, that my friend is an ORDER!
The single greatest 4 laps of racing I have ever seen and I'm confident most will agree, make it happen Grove, I'll consider it an Easter Gift, lol. All the very best to you and your precious wife, I miss you guys and more importantly our conversations where we used to solve most of the sprint car problems in the world, giggling again.....

I guess we'll get an early indication of the state of things here in Ohio this weekend if Attica gets their All Star shows in. Sounds like Gravel will not be on the All Star at least early on. At least you guys in PA have a healthy 358 division - have to be thankful for that.

It is Tyler Walker for big shows. A friend of mine read it somewhere, And I am still waiting to find out where he got his info, but All drug charges in 3 state chase were dismissed on him. All drugs were found to be the hookers. You heard it here first.

What are the odds of a random hooker having all your favourite drugs in her possession? Must be living right.

I admit it sounds like bullshit that all the drugs were just the hookers. However hookers and drugs do seem to go together like bread and butter. In fact if you've got some decent drugs on you it will most certainly guarantee some free action with just about any whore in town. Saves them the trip they'd end up making with your cash anyways. With all the loose pit lizards that Tyler has ready access to he should steer clear of the professional whores.
Cheers!
