The early weather report from the weather "dud" says Friday will be sunny with a high of 81. Let's hope that holds!!!

BIGROB...I'll touch bases with you closer to Friday. Not too sure at this time if I will go to the pits or sit in the stands. Looking for another one of "our boys" to take it to the travelers!

Well, the "dud" just changed and put a 10% chance of rain for Friday!

Welllll - better take an umbrella then ... if I was as wrong as often at my job as the TV mediaurologists are at theirs I would be a regular at the local soup kitchen....

We used to have a regular in this forum who at the time lived in Denver and worked at the local NBC (I think) station as a meteorologist. Met and spent some time with him, very knowledgable sprint man and great guy who by the way is now in Toledo, OH practicing his witchcraft. Hello NORM!!!!

Johnson is another one who came west to "seek his fortune" and things haven't gone too well for him.

We'll see how it goes tomorrow night at Merced. Looking forward to watching our Cali boys take on the travelers. It will be good racing..even if Smoke isn't there!

BIGROB..I'm not puter swift nor am I familiar with how to take a pic with my phone then transfer it to something else.
There is a fellow (kinserfan) who is asking for a pic of the Merced track.
I'm asking if you could possibly get a pic or two of the track then post them on here on a separate thread....Merced Track Photos?
