Thanks George.
Im trying a slightly different thing for now with posting galleries. I am doing less editing and putting a bit more out there to try and see what people like the most. I am always surprised by what people trend towards.
I should probably listen to my wife more, she has been telling me for years people want to see the behind the scenes stuff and it is what gets the most views / comments.

In the short time I've been "back" on the forum (more reading than posting), I've really enjoyed looking at your pictures.
For what its worth, I enjoy looking at the behind the scenes pics as well. The on track shots are great, but behind the scenes you can get a sense of the work that goes into it, the engineering or maybe you catch a driver at a relaxed moment. When combined with the on track photos there's an opportunity to tell a complete story.
I enjoy taking pictures, though I'm nowhere near a pro..heck, barely an amateur. A few times a year I'll buy a pit pass and go into the pits before the races start. Then I'll get out of the way and take a seat in the stands. Besides, I take much better pictures when the cars are sitting still
Here are a couple of favorites I took a few years ago at the PAS. Not trying to hijack the thread....hope you don't mind. Feel free to share.

Thanks for sharing. Those are great shots.
That is the sort of thing I am talking about... that adds atmosphere to the whole deal.
