Lucas Wolfe wins from 8th, Dale Blaney 2nd, Dustin Daggett 3rd I think. The battle up front was so good, I couldn't take my eyes off the top 2 in a non-stop 25 lap feature.

Dale Blaney and Kasey Kahne started on the front row with Blaney getting the jump and a big lead early. 10 laps in Dustin Daggett started moving toward the front and looked like the best car on the track, then out of nowhere came Lucas Wolfe. Wolfe was glued to the bottom, Blaney only inches off the wall, and Daggett right in the middle. Wolfe was getting a juge bite and blew by Dale on lap 17. He pulled out to a half-straightaway lead within 3 laps, but three slower cars were running the bottom right in front of him. He decided to be patient and stay behind them as there was nowhere to go. Blaney quickly caught back up to Wolfe. With the white flag waiving, Blaney closed to within 2 car lengths out of turn 2, but Tim Allison slid in front of Blaney causing him to lift. Blaney drove under Allison and closed back on Wolfe entering turn 3. Blaney made an awesome desperation move between Wolfe and 2 lapped cars, but slid up the track just enough to allow Wolfe to hold his line. Blaney drove hard out of turn 4, but Wolfe held on by about 3 car lengths.

Lucas said in victory lane that he thought about going high, but decided that patience was probably the better choice. It paid off tonight. Congrats to Lucas and Dale on a great battle. The best feature I have seen this year.

Totally awesome. This teams track record is unbelievable. I hope they decide to do the Short Track Nationals @ I-30.

Congrats to Lucas and everyone associated with the 13k!

He definately likes running the races that Blaney & Kahne run in. My god he could'nt have been a foot away from the wall on the bottom a couple of times. There were @ least 3 grooves. If this holds true for the Royal it ought to be a barn burner. There were a couple of others that had good runs also.
