What Scott Burns is doing is very much a family effort. His father was the guy driving the Toyota pickup pulling the drag. I was pretty impressed with the laps he was turning. His son was the driver of the water truck. I got a chance to have a nice talk with Scott's mother last night also.

Thank you Scotty and Family, Doug Bushey, Steve Ostling and everyone else for your efforts. What an exciting Main Event. We really needed this win for Mrs. Moose. I was on the phone with her for the last lap! David spoke to her from the infield! We are honored to be the first Victor of the URA Unlimited Sprint Cars.

All the thanks go to you guys!!.....With all you guys have faced it would have been easy to stay home and lick your wounds.....you guys represent the true spirit of sprint car racing. I was so proud of the line up we had! And David showed that he wasn't gonna take no for an answer. Also like to thank all the guys who took a chance on us after all the propaganda that was spread around leading up to our race. Can't wait for this weekend! We miss you Tom and Laurie!

Just as an Fyi .....The late start was due to a medical emergency(apparent heart attack-Bobby Kimbrough). Our medical crew was on scene and attending to Bobby. We do not put race cars on our track without our medical/fire/rescue team in the infield.....period. I will gladly take the heat on the late start to do the right thing. Like I said just a FYI .

Scotty, you did what anyone would have done and stopped everything to take care of a downed comrade. I salute you for that. From what I understand, there may be a Moose sighting Saturday night to try to double up! Keep up the good work!
And Bobby Kimbrough, we hope you are feeling everything coming back to you that you have given to this sport. We all need to take a moment for this man and keep him in our thoughts.

Hey Scotty, thank you so much for making me feel a little like part of the team Friday and Saturday, I had a great time and with the family and crew you have, this deal is in a win win situation.
.Doug we tried, we really did, but we had a hard time finding any faults with your announcing and man, for a rookie or not, you did one hell of a good job. Thought we had you during the yellow about halfway through not knowing what lap it was, but no, you got in that it was lap 16 before the restart for a A+.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

You are always welcome in the family.....had a great time with you and glad you were able to do the honors for Don. Hope you are able to join the family on a regular basis. And we took the rookie flag off Doug a long time ago......haha
