He got loose and spun, got help from DJ Netto, spun around 3 times... parked it on the front stretch, got pushed off and destroyed Netto under caution with 2 laps to go... Netto who was running 2nd at the time had damage to the right side of his suspension and wing. Pretty bogus if you ask me..
Glad they parked him..

For those people out there that think sides got out of hand after being spun out by a no namer that showed up to run with the big guys...i bet if you guys were running for points in the world of outlaws and not only that but running second in points and to have a no namer take you out, i think sides did nothing wrong whats so ever, he got mad and showed it just like any buddy with balls should when they get pissed off! Hell i wish sides would have done more!!!

I hope he does too, then we can see the WoO officials continue to set his ass down, and possible eventually not allow him to race with them any longer. They are already sending a message they wont tolerate this kinda BS, especially with a major series sponsor on board now. They don't want any on track antics like this under yellows, or they risk being labeled another Bowman Gray Stadium "Madhouse". Sides is a punk.

I watched it on Dirtvision last night and it appeared to me as a simple racing incident. They happen all the time. Regardless of whether Sides was going around on his own or D.J. Netto gave him a little help, Jason Sides should not be allowed to retaliate at any point, green or caution. I applaud WoO for DQing him and for finding a way to allow Netto in the main (promoter's provisional, etc...).
Props also to WoO for making another case to show they don't let their guys do whatever they please.

What an incredibly stupid post. That no namer was the show in that race thrilling the crowd. I like Sides but his actions were ridiculous. The WoO had every right to shit can him.

Dhowe 11164 i would love to see you call sides a punk to his face! You are a big talker on the keyboard! Also if you guys heard what sides said at the start of the year he said he would start with the outlaws and see how they were to him, so i bet you wont see him at the next race! Outlaws only got 12 main drivers left and they are going to run him off cuz he got mad cuz a no namer took him out!

that no namer is DJ Netto from hanford just a youngster i bet they no his name now, saw him and his brother race a few Micros in the past, he can sure wheel that sprint car i was very im pressed

I was there...sitting near the top in turn four so I had a great view of this incident. Sides did two or three "360's, kept it going, got back on the track and came to a stop. An official went out and talked with him. They pushed him off and he went after the car "he felt" responsible for making contact with him. What he did is unexcusable as far as I'm concerned. They talk about "racing deals" and I think this was one of them. I think the WoO group will be lacking in character if they do not issue some type of penatly for his actions. This stuff is totally unacceptable. I remeber what they did to TK for going after another car. The WoO officials should step up and do something similar with Sides. I did find one thing somewhat amusing. I had a retired chief of police and his wife sitting in front of me. After Sides pulled his "antics" she commented, "I use to be a fan of his but I can tell you tomorrow I will be throwing all his things away!" That may be a little too much but his actions were beyond what I find acceptable to our type of racing.
Just my thoughts and like most things on here..not worth too much.

The big talker here is you with your outrageous post, saying Sides should have done more to DJ Netto under the yellow and for supporting his unsubstantiated rant. Wrecking anyone under a yellow to the point it damages there car is BS and has no business in racing. That sure as hell isn't a "Racin Deal", and the WoO Officials agreed. Sides is a punk for pulling crap like that. He should have been a man about it and confronted Netto and his crew in the pits, not wreck him under yellow. That's chicken sh!t and id tell that to his face or anyone else who would have done that. Acting that way, he doesn't deserve to race for the Outlaws, and i for one could care less if he showed up to the next race or not.

I love how some of you can say WoO only has 14 drivers, then in the same post bash a 'no name' driver. Them no names is part of what makes the show. Hoe many of you would show up to see a 14 cars race all night. Being from Oklahoma and grew up by devils bowl, once them no names quit showing up so does the WoO. They don't come around these parts anymore. Don't have nothing against Sides but agree with above post. Man up and handle it face to face.

Seems like the only "NO NAME" here is Team 7x. Sprint Car Racing isn't WW fricking E, or NASCAR where have at it boys is ok. Thinking that type of thing is acceptable is as Pea Brained as Sides wrecking two cars under YELLOW for some 360's that caused no damage only a loss of track position. Where a talk in the pits was all that was needed.

Almost every famous sprint car driver was a "no name" when he started. One of those no name guys may well be the WoO champion some day.

Dirtvission camera wasn't aimed in the location of contact, I do have a hard time believing Sides got uncontrollably loose after running several laps in his same preferred line, Netto did have the crowds attention, as a spectator that's entertaining, as a competitor he was uncontrollably making mistakes at full tilt style , Luckily pulling himself out of trouble and making passes, this is the type driver you like to stay very clear of, maybe he's not always that aggressive im not going to bash him I honestly haven't seen him race locally, props to a local running hard, with that said, As a local I have respect for the guys running day in and day out with the outlaws, maybe if I were faster my ideas would change, If I had been taken out of a transfer position, by someone who is easily in a transfer himself I would have been pissed too, this wasn't a race for position for the last transfer, why Netto ran so hard for the additional position and NOT running for WoO points is beyond me ?racing is a High emotion sport, sometimes when done wrong on track you retilulate, racers will police themselves the ones that don't like getting roughed up a bit will straitn their act out and think about what their on track actions will take them, Ive been on both sides of this debate and learned valuable lessons from both experiances . Hopefully these occasions don't arise often , I don't blame Sides one bit, he was going to start tail after the incident, he lost his transfer, he wasn't going to start the A in the difference of almost $1k, he decided Netto wasn't either, eye for a eye tooth for a tooth, I could be wrong, but if Netto unconsideratly knocked Sides into a spin, he got what he deserved, I believe Sides handeled Sammy a few years back , you bounce off the #7 lookn for trouble, chances are, your proubly going to get it , just race him clean, that's all..

So dirtdevil...because a driver is not running for WoO points they should no drive hard? In other words.."hey local...if a WoO driver wants to pass you just pull over and let him by. After all, you're 'just' a local!" Sorry, that doesn't work. Sides was totally wrong and if he isn't penalized the WoO, in my opinion, doesn't have much credibility.
