I actually saw a comercial for this race on channel 31! They never have commericals for sprint car races so this must be a huge deal for Stockton!
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!
Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

Hi Everyone,
This is Stockton 99 Dirt Track staff. We do not have any reserved seating tickets BUT we do have general admission and pits available.
We want to thank everyone who is supporting this event and look forward to seeing you and many more events to come. It is going to be an amazing day with a HUGE midway with lots of vendors, over 60 car, car show, and of course the World of Outlaws with Tony Stewart racing with them.
It is the GRAND OPENING of this new Dirt track. It is 3/8 mile on the inside and 1/2 mile on the outside. SUPER FAST track with lots of good food available, lots of vendors, and some very exciting racing!!

Why the negativity and hostility towards any track that is not in the Central Valley? We get it, you are a homer for the Central Valley and Tulare is possibly the most entertaining track, when its not a rubber down follow the leader track. Lets be thankful for the tracks left to enjoy sprint car racing at. Just a few yrs ago, Kings speedway almost became defunct due to poor mgt and bad scheduling and no crowds. Now they are slowly climbing back into being relevant once again. Give Stockton a chance and be thankful a track opened up instead of closing down.

The "typical" WoO pit pass has been $50.00 in the past. I'm guessing they might have increased as most things have!

I must not have been sitting here waiting for very long, since these were the first responses to you, and your many other alias's you use on here, since your wacky posts in December. My opinion of you is hardly a compliment, sorry to disappoint you.

The forum apparently had some issues early afternoon Thursday...
Just curious - is this a new track in addition to the asphalt track? Checked the web site but there's not much info about the dirt track.

So it's not *really* at Stockton 99 Speedway but instead a few miles away..... OK then... hmmmm... kinda odd...
Apparently "Stockton 99 Speedway Operating A New, Somewhat Close To Highway 99, Dirt Track Inside An Older, Existing Horse Track At A County Fair Speedway" didn't quite sound marketable.

OK - well apparently I'm really confused (nothing unusual) because the WoO press release indeed says --
"Stockton 99 Speedway, which is located on the San Joaquin Fairgrounds,
recently added the big 3/8-mile dirt track to the impressive facility.
Stockton 99 Dirt Track was built in the infield of the old horse racing
track at the fairgrounds and it joins a quarter-mile paved track, a
karting track and a drifting track on the property."
But yesterday when I did a search for Stockton 99 Speedway (hadn't heard of the track before) I found their web site and their location shows it about 3mi North of the Fairgrounds... therefore the confusion...

i see what you mean. as far as i know the stockton 99 pavement track has always been at it's original site off the 99 highway, not at the fairgrounds.
i have no idea if their is really even a 1/4 mile paved track at the fairgrounds.

Ok guys listen up.. the paved track is down wilson way and sits buy its self.. Recently the nocetti group aquired the karting paved road course track at the fairgrounds about 3 miles south down wilson way.. also the drifting is down in the fair grounds parking lot and all they do is sit out cones ..there is also delta speedway , thats a one eighth mile micro track that has a shit load turn out on saturdays starting soon, they didnt get the micro track ,, thats ran by kpr i think thats kenny piaro racing .. any ways thats the info i live here about 3 miles away and attend alot of the micro stuff very very exciting.. Also the king of the west date for the STOCKTON 99 DIRT TRACK is the same day as the micro race should be a good night of racing for the stockton area ,,hope this helped you all out.
