It seemed to me that there was only 6 cars inverted for the heat races last Saturday at Perris. Was there a change in format? I'd rather see 8 but 6 is what the national guys do, just hope they keep 8 inverted for the mains.

Yes now running National rules with 6 car inversion. Also they won't open the reds unless a certain amount of laps were ran or prolonged red flag.

under Nat. rules do they get thier times back if they don't transfer from thier heat race???

6 car inversion for the feature. I wish Perris would do a front row challenge. I know a couple of drivers that would come from the back if the track was right. Heat race transfers line up just like before with 6 car invert instead of 8. Top 6 Qualifiers that transfer from heats are inverted. Then whoever transfers from the B Main starting 7th back lineup on qualifying time. Everything is the same as before except a 6 car inversion instead of 8.
