12th Annual Front Row Challenge Salutes the American Chassis Manufacturer! (Bill W) July 10, 2007 – The 12th Annual Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge will salute the American Chassis Manufacturer!!! This "can't miss" event will take place on Monday, August 6 at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa. Four chassis giveaways to the night's heat winners will add one more highlight to what already is one of the most popular nights of racing around! America's four most popular chassis manufacturers will be a part of the event! The four heat race winners will receive a chassis from Eagle, J&J, JEI or Schnee! This unprecedented heat race prize has a retail value around $3,000! For Brian Schnee, the chassis that will be a part of the Front Row Challenge is special. It will be the 1000th ever produced by the South Dakota builder!

Terry McCarl, who partners with Bill McCroskey to form McTwo Promotions is elated. "I think what we're doing with these fine chassis manufacturers is both unprecedented and exciting for fans and racers alike. To bring four American chassis companies together in this fashion is just awesome! Thanks to Eagle, J&J, JEI and Schnee!"

Entertainment, as well as great racing is always a part of the "FRC". "The Mouse" Kenny Jacobs scored one for the state of Ohio, besting Danny Lasoski, Craig Dollansky and Kasey Kahne in the 2006 event. The event is smack dab in the middle of Cox Design and Fabrication "Southern Iowa Sprintweek", so you know the field will include the best in the sprint car business again this year! The chassis giveaway is just one small reason to check out the $50,000 to win from the back Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge! Tickets still remain! Don't miss it! Order your tickets for the Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge today! Call McTwo Promotions Tuesday-Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 515 957-0020 to order!

Infield Party Passes are $20 in advance or $25 the day of the race!

Got a chance to see the new National Sprint Car Hall of Fame sprint car chassis which will be raffled off this past weekend at Port Royal and Selinsgrove speedways. It is a JEI chassis built by Barry Jackson in Carlisle, Pa. What a thing of beauty! Very well made car. Although the JEI chassis is not as well known as the others, it is really starting to become successful with Saldana, "The Dude" and Stevie Smith doing well. I think this is a great idea to help the racers.

Should make for some most exciting heat races, I'll be interested to see the "FRC" of the heats. I mean like, what will front row do to each other to be leading coming off of turn 2 for a 3K to win heat race?

What a great deal for the heat race winners. Their elbows will really be "up" in the heats for sure. Kudo's to McTwo Promotions for an awesome idea.

Being that Winters makes a lot of products offshore ... that would be truley ironic.

Many of the components in their rear ends are from offshore. I think it's pretty common knowledge. Ever wonder how they managed to lower to cost of a complete front end from $1,700 to $800 a few years back?

What parts in a Winters R. E. are "off shore" mfg. please? Axle, Center Section, Ring and Pinion, Lower Shaft, Side Bell? I am pretty dumb about their stuff, so I don't have "common knowledge".  I am curious what "components" you are speaking of. Please reference the major peices  above that are made off shore and what proof you have.  i.e. a stamping that states MADE IN CHINA or MEXICO etc.  Or do you mean the various roller bearings in their  R.E.'s ?  I don't think Winters has ever claimed to have made bearings themselves. Remember we are talking rear ends here not front hubs or spindles that you like to mention.

Since it was advertised for a heat race winner...maybe he didn't think about giving it to the fast timer or feature winner (if I'm not mistaken the FT also received something). Without talking to Terry, maybe he's holding onto it for next year's prizes...I'm really not sure. But since you seem to be in the "know", maybe the chassis can be bought back by the mfg. and then everyone would be happy....for about 2 seconds at least. I really can't see why Allard or Chaney would expect a chassis for a heat race win when they didn't win a heat race. Or better yet, he has one chassis and two deserving people to give it to...cut it in half per King Solomon??

After re-reading your posts I see that there's no way to acknowledge that he advertised giving a free chassis away to a heat race winner...then ACTUALLY giving away a free chassis to each heat race winner. Since the last 12 years there have been four heat races and non-monsoon like weather to deal with, maybe the "contingency plan B" was never thought about. This is obviously sticking in your craw, and possibly the next step would be to deal directly with McTwo regarding this and not drag this on (and on and on). Have a great evening..and keep that positive attitude, it's critical.
