I see there will be four different classes at Las Vegas on the 6th and 7th. They are running WoO winged sprintcars, USAC 360 sprintcars, IMCA A-modifieds and superstocks, both nights.

There will be around 50 Winged cars, 40 USAC cars, over 100 modifieds (128 car average per vegas imca mod race) and 40 superstocks.

I hope they start early, but knowing the Vegas dirttrack they will take their time and race until 3am like last year.

What??!! I read somewhere that it was WoO + SUPR Late Models on Wed and then WoO + USAC 360 sprints on Thu. I am traveling from SoCal and was not in the mood to see a modified crash fest or super stocks either. Where did you see this info at?

I see they have Latemodels on wed and usac on thurs. Latemodels will bring even more cars than usac.

Here is the schedule of events...support division heats are starting at 6 PM & remember the WoO are running the entire event. http://www.lvms.com/dirt/news/schedule-for-world-outlaws-stp-sprint-cars-march.html

I really don't see 50 winged cars and 40 wingless 360 sprints. No idea about the other support divisions.

Oh well, I am on vacation, long night of racing is better than a day at work. I just hope the track holds up. Weather sure looks chilly so hopefully they move the show along.

I miss Ted Johnson. He only allowed 1 support class at a WoO show. WRG must be making money off those other classes somehow.

Thinking I might drive up on Thursday and back home same night. The race last year for USAC was a great finish with BK drag racing bernal to the line.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

50 winged cars? Is there something I'm missing...? Guess that's besides the point though...

I'm not going to Lincoln this week because they're having just one support division with the 410's... :/

Opinions may vary...

Expect a long, cold, and breezy night of racing. DRESS WARMLY. Seen some great racing there live and on the net. Schedule to me does not look feasible especially for a 1/2 mile track (you would be surprised how long pace laps can take)

I don't see time alloted for hotlaps for Street Stock, LM, or IMCA cars, heat races start at 6:45 for LM. Schedule is unrealistic for no time alloted for hot laps for support classes, and especially for alloting 10 minutes to run heat race for USAC non-wing sprint cars and late models.

What's the over under for the WOO A main starts at 10 pm each night, the whole program is over by 11pm, the temperature when they finish. I might be wrong, but I think the track can be a tire eater, wouldn't surprise me if they have lots of blown tires with all the cars racing, breezy and cold weather. But for those that go, I am sure they will be rewarded with some great racing, or at least alot of racing Smile
