While listening to the ASCS race Saturday night I flat our heard Logan Forler say aftert his heat race that they were using more fuel than they liked and were going to have to change to a larger tank for the feature coming up. This made me curious so I went to the ASCS rules that are on the ASCS main page and found this.

"3. Fuel cell securely mounted with bladder mandatory. Tank used for qualifying events must remain for all events."

I just found it rather odd that the ASCS National tech guys may have dropped the ball in a rather blatent way, but the regional guys down at Battleground are doing what they are supposed to do and getting picked on for it. This leads me to 2 questions. 1. How can the National ASCS guys let something like this happen. 2. How many other rules are being overlooked on the National ASCS scene? Just some thoughts to ponder on a Monday Morning.
