FROM JIM POWERS---- Mrs Moose and Moosemobile update (sorry so late) The latest news on Mrs. Moose is she had a bit of a rough night again. Seems like nights are the worst for her. This morning/early afternoon has been better. She has had some visitors including Jerry Faas, and Moose Crew member Rich Backstrom. I have no doubt there have been many more, but these are the ones I know of. Her condition remains stable with a long road for recovery. Laurie had 1/2 a piece of French Toast this morning. For lunch an Orange and some crackers, and of course a little Dr Pepper. She tolerated both well and has been napping off and on. Let did get a visit from one of those evil physical therapists today but was only able to sit up for about 30 seconds before she had to lay back down. Those people are evil, but as we all know she needs to keep moving. Laurie Sertich C/O John C Lincoln Medical Center 250 E. Dunlap Ave., Room 537-B Phoenix, AZ 85020 On to the Moosemobile. We ran it for all she had (and after a very trying race weekend for all we had), Dynamite David Cardey brought the Moosemobile home a safe 12th last night. We rolled it onto the trailer and are happy with that result. Despite our trials and tribulations this weekend, we are sitting in 10th place for USAC CRA Sprint Cars. The Moosemobile is currently on the way home. The great news is she will be ready to race this Saturday Night at The PAS. Laurie hopes many of you can make it to our home track and show Laurie the support she needs in her recovery. I have been asked by Tom and Laurie to extend their gratitude to the entire Moose Crew of Lonnie, James Evans, Rich Backstrom and newest member Don Spitler for their efforts this weekend. We stepped up being two crew members short and got it done!. Also thank you Brett Roa for your help and many others who helped us or expressed your concern and well wishes for a speedy recovery. Lastly Laurie wanted me to be sure to mention Huntington Beach Glass and Mirror, Victory Race Cars, Phil and Eileen King, RC Performance, Circle Track Performance, Racers Pub,White Nuckl USA Keizer Wheels, and others that I am sure I have forgotten to mention (sorry to those I have forgotten. You are very important to us). More updates soon! Team Moose

From Jim Powers--- Mrs Moose Update Mr. Moose has asked me to pass some information along to the fans. Mrs Moose is resting comfortably. She is having some issues with her counts in her blood and is going to be given blood to help adjust these counts tonight. Mrs Moose has asked if you feel like doing something for her, to please donate blood through the American Red Cross in her name. Mrs. Moose has made some progress today. She held herself up in bed with her right arm for over ten minutes while they changed the sheets in her bed. This is actually a milestone in her recovery. There are many more milestones yet to accomplish, but it is one step at a time. This will be my last post for tonight. I have finally reached the wall and will be going to try to catch up on sleep (less than 14 hours since Wednesday). I will give more updates tomorrow. I want to apologize for as mis-spelled words or anyone I have forgotten. I can now admit I am spent, but can only imagine what Mrs and Mr Moose are going through. Thanks again for all of your support. Laurie and Tom appreciate the kind thoughts everyone is expressing. Laurie has also asked that everyone be sure to attend the race next Saturday at the PAS to support the Moosemobile. We have made plans to be at the race and Dynamite David Cardey is pumped to bring home a great result for the boss, Mrs. Moose. Cards, letters, get well wishes, etc can be sent to: Laurie Sertich C/O John C Lincoln Medical Center 250 E. Dunlap Ave., Room 537-B Phoenix, AZ 85020 And as usual, Mrs Moose has asked that I thank the Moose crew for their concern and amazing work, and the people that help allow us to field the Moosemobile Huntington Beach Glass and Mirror, Victory Race Cars, Phil and Eileen King, RC Performance, Circle Track Performance, Racers Pub,White Nuckl USA, Keizer Wheels, and others that I am sure I have forgotten to mention (sorry to those I have forgotten. You are very important to us). Also a special thanks to Jim and Joyce Cardey for helping us prep the car for next week. Please ask your friends to like our Facebook at Mooseracing92. We are celebrating our 20th Anniversary of fielding Sprint Cars. Moose Racing

Mrs. Moose update.
Mrs Moose has completed the second surgery since her injury. This surgery was to correct injuries to her head and her ear. The surgery was performed by a plastic surgeon. The surgery was a success and Laurie is stable and is rest comfortably in her room.
Mr Moose has asked that calls be limited. She needs her rest at this point to help her recover. If you would like to get a message to Laurie, please contact Mr. Moose directly. If you do not have his number, please private message me and I will get your message to him..
Tom did want me to relay that she had a visit from Racers for Christ today which she enjoyed. This was just prior to her surgery.
Please keep Laurie in your thoughts. Next update will be tomorrow morning or when additional information is available.

Dang, another surgery! That isn't what I was wishing for, so I'll start at the bottom again: A quick recovery, Laurie. There will be a big spot missing this weekend at the PAS. Hopefully if she is up to it, she will to be able to follow the race on the net.
