Dear Members of our Community,
Tri-Valley Quarter Midget Association (TVQMA) is a non-profit organization that is run and staffed by family volunteers. Kids ages 5 through 17 years old work to develop physical skills such as coordination, timing, alertness and mechanical theory. In addition, internal strength is developed through sportsmanship, self-confidence, self-reliance, accomplishment and recognition by competing for trophies and awards. This organization is proud to offer a family oriented activity that offers the thrill of motor sports competition.
“We are the Little League of Nascar and Indy Racing.”
A Quarter Midget race car is a scaled-down version of an actual midget racer, approximately ¼ scale. The cars, rules and safety procedures are designed specifically for kids. There are various types of tracks; dirt, paved and concrete surfaces which are 1/20 mile banked ovals. Safety features include full roll cages, multi-point seat harnesses, full face helmets and other gear. The national organization, Quarter Midgets of America (QMA) is constantly reviewing and evaluating safety rules to ensure that quarter midget racing remains a safe competitive sport.
Our sport is supported through donations that make it possible to
maintain the track, land, and hold races for the general public.
We are currently seeking partners for the 2013 racing season as well as the 2013 QMA Western Grand Nationals hosted by our club for the first time. This week long event brings drivers from across the United States and Canada to compete for a National Championship Title. Being chosen to host this event is an honor but also a huge task for our organization. We have many sponsorship packages available including a “Title Sponsor” package. Package information is enclosed.
