She drove a great race! No rookie mistakes, no stupid moves and she was totally focused throughout the race. With just a little aggression, she could have won it.

They are all sitting with their pants around their ankles, trying to figure out what to do next. Maybe even looking at all of their ignorant posts, and rethinking their thoughts....Naw, that would take common sense.

There was no way she was going to win that race. As soon as the drivers decided to begin racing at the closing of the race she went backwards incredibly fast. She was fine when they were all just cruising around half throttle waiting for the go ahead to start racing. I disliked her comment immediately following the race that she didn't move to the bottom because she didn't feel like anyone would work with her and she would get frieght trained. So she whined about what could of happened but it didn't even happen. She sort of impressed me in one way that I will admit, she didn't crash or cause one. Phoenix will be a drivers race don't expect to see her in the top ten or top 15 for that matter.
Cheers!

Yea, she did fine. Agree with Henry that she went backwards at the end, but she still finished ahead of some big guns. Also, no wrecks like so many predicted.
But I don't like NASCAR. The whole drafting partner thing is weird, & laying back till last lap madness is screwy too. 497.5 miles of boredom & 2.5 miles of reckless driving???

It's no disgrace to get shuffled out of the draft on the last lap at Daytona. I don't think she had a drafting partner there at the end. I've seen that happen to every driver out there at one time or another. She drove a good race and has good equipment so who knows, she could win one this year.

She survived an oval demolition derby. I'll stop bashing when she finishes in the top 3 at a real track.

I thought it was funny when she thought she had a problem & the crew chief said "Keep us abreast of it", Should of said informed.
If ya noticed most of the lesser name guys in the Nationwide race was left too "hang out to dry" when they tried to make a move.

She did good not making any mistakes but restrictor plate tracks can also be equalizers. Its a totally different kind of racing compared to tracks like phoenix where its gonna take throttle control and car control. Look at Trevor bayne if you have a good car you have a pretty decent chance at winning if you get it to the finish but then he has never really done anything in cup at any other tracks. I think at Phoenix and Vegas she is going to struggle a lot more. I'm not trying to bash by any means.

Danica did a great job. However, if you heard her over the team communications, she was not going to go for the win...she did not want to screw up the top ten she had going. She was afraid (and rightfully so) of pulling out of line for the pass and not having any help. Had Biffle dropped under Johnson, she would have gone with him. But if she had dropped under Biffle, I am not sure Junior would have followed. She may have dropped from 3rd, with less than a mile to go, all the way back to 8th, but it was a great call for a rookie. I think she probably earned some respect from her fellow racers with the way she handled the entire race. Next time, she may have the help she needs as long as she is WILLING to take the risk and try to go for the win. That may be her biggest downfall right now. I am sure she has read all of her detractors comments about screwing up etc...She will need to get over that and SHOW that she belongs and deserves the other drivers' respect. THe 500 helped her in that respect.
