RPM Speedway $17,000 Grand Re-Opening Blowout – February 23rd

Crandall, TX (2/17/13) by DarinShort.com. This coming Saturday, February 23rd is the $17,000 Grand Re-Opening Blowout at the new RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas.

During the off-season, Track Promoter Jason Troutman and team have reconfigured the racing surface, increased and adjusted the track lighting and addressed several other punch list items.

Fans and race teams can get their first taste of the fast-paced action this coming Saturday, when the season point’s lid-lifter hits the track at 7pm.

The USRA Modifieds pay $1,500 to win, while the RaceSaver Sprint Cars pay $1,000 to win. The Limited Modifieds race for $750 to win, Street Stocks will shoot it out for $400 to win and the Factory Stocks are gunning for $300 to win.

There are no entry fees in any of the race divisions and a whopping $17,000 in cash will be distributed. Click http://www.rpmspeedwaytx.com/special.html to view complete payback and details. Rules for each division are posted at the track website.

This is also opening weekend for USRA Modifieds nationwide, and with other tracks not yet open, race fans can expect some ‘invaders’ taking on the stout field of RPM modified drivers.

Race fans will also get to see the massive listing of sponsors that are supporting RPM Speedway’s rebirth in 2013.

Sponsors have rallied behind Jason and his team, and at the time of writing, the sponsor listing has grown to 20 businesses. The support of those sponsors has allowed the track to help offset the remodeling costs, as well as paying one of the strongest weekly racing purses offered in the region – while still keeping pricing family-affordable for race fans.

The pit area opens at 3pm and the grandstands open at 5pm. Teams are urged to arrive early, especially if they have yet to register their car for the 2013 season. Online driver registration is ongoing at the track website in the meantime. If you’ve yet to register your car, it is helpful to do it now, as it will save everyone time on opening night.

Track packing will commence at 6pm with hot laps to follow. Draw cut-off for all race teams is 6:30pm. The first green flag is expected to wave at 7pm. A complete program of heat races and features will be contested.

Adult ticket prices are just $12, kids are $5, and all pit passes are $30.

The long-range forecast is currently showing dry and partly cloudy conditions with daytime highs in the 60’s, which will make for excellent racing conditions.

Visit www.RPMSpeedwayTX.com for track directions, rules, purse, event flyer and much more.

With this being the first point’s event for all five RPM racing divisions, it is the first chance for drivers to start earning their guaranteed starting positions for the $25,000 RPM Championship on September 27th. Complete details and format are posted on the track website for this exciting and revolutionary conclusion to the point’s season.

Join us this Saturday night, February 23rd when drivers from throughout the area get their first chance of taming the newly reconfigured banking of RPM Speedway in Crandall Texas, with the running of the $17,000 Grand Re-Opening Blowout!

We would like to thank the 20+ businesses that have rallied behind the 'rebirth' of RPM Speedway by becoming a marketing and advertising partner with the track.

Their support allows the track to post one of the largest competitor purses in the region, while still keeping spectator ticket pricing family-affordable. It also helps to offset the cost of improvements to the track and facility.

To view all of the businesses that are currently involved, please click the following link:

If your business is interested in learning more about the marketing and advertising opportunities available with the speedway, please contact Jason at: [email protected]

Thanks again to all who are involved in the 2013 racing season...and please remember to support businesses that support racing at RPM Speedway!
