Justin Zock! Great guy and always has a great call of a race. He misses nothing!
I tell it like I see it.

He needs to learn how to correctly pronounce non regular visiting drivers name that visit the PAS. I've heard him butcher drivers, one driver in particular, many times over, even after he has been told the correct pronunciation.

I agree. Although I've never been to PA to listen to him, I think he's done some work during the Nationals and I only remember him as boring. Justin Zoch is pretty good.

No.... I think it will be a sad day when Bruce retires from announcing at the Grove.

I agree with this I think the Grove won't be the same without Bruce, but to say he is a strong announcer let alone the best is quite the stretch.

Johnny G. is obviously top-tier. Wayne Harper from Lincoln is very, very good. Liskai in Ohio is also extremely strong and personable. Bokhoven heads the trio that announces at Knoxville by leaps and bounds.

Well I think that of many of the ones mentioned, as I've never heard of most of them. EVERYONE knows who Bruce is. "IT's SHOWTIME AT WILLIAMS GROVE SPEEDWAY" My opinion is he is One of the best ever.

They all have their own qualities and uniqueness in my opinion and I have heard a few hundred of them. Wayne Harper, Scott Dalosio and Wade Aunger are all above average for sure. A couple of friends, Johnny Gibson and Tony Bokhoven both do a very good job as well, what's wrong with being keen? This is a very subjective debate, to each his own. Who has more knowledge than Bruce Ellis with more pauses, I love the way he announces. I guess if you put a gun to my head I would say Wayne Harper but that's because I am known as such a pro Posse guy....

I agree, but he was so good when I was a kid at rock rapids. Hearing Tassler's voice walkin into the grandstands was my que to get pumped for the races. Then again The grandstands used to seem like Kinnick stadium when I was a kid too, so maybe that has something to do with it. But I think the more years he goes, the more disinterested and bored he sounds in the booth.

Bruce Evans was great. Bobby G is the best now. ANYONE but Waltrip and McReynolds. Bruce Ellis aint bad either.

Three of the all-time greats. Jack Herwhe (sp) Tim Trier (sp) and of course Jack Miller. Also, from "back in the day" in Kansas City, Bill Grigsby.

I second that, he is a great West Coast announcer. Very distinct voice.
