Larson's haters...all three of them...are rejoicing with this news. Gives them something to do besides trying on new formals for the spring prom at their junior high school!

No congrat's from me. An award named after Mario should rank diversity high amongst it's criteria. Seb is a one trick pony. Let's see him take a lap at Eldora.
|
Seb is hardly a "one trick pony" if you look into his career that began at 3 1/2 years old. And if you can take Eau Rouge @ Spa in the rain at nearly 200 mph, I'm sure that a lap at Eldora or better yet Belleville in any type of car would be no big deal. But considering the biased crowd here, I'm sure I'll be pummeled over this post...

Yes Congrats. They could not have picked a better driver for the award this year.
|
Is this 21wforacer for real. He is so wrong on the right guy for the award. He needs to be banned from kyles races as ge doesnt deserve to be in the same facility. What a stupid person he makes himself look like. I bet he will never make himself known and will continue to hide behind a screen name. Wake up meat head.

his name is Will, and instead of being banned from larson's races he should be made to attend them all and have everyone in attendance aware of it.

Yes that's what the key board commando thought too when he was ripping on Cody Darrah and his family.
Ask the coward how that worked out for him when they finally crossed paths....

Maybe I owe an apology, what has Vettel driven besides single seater open wheel vehicles on road courses made from prescription asphalt?

Only 5% of what comes on speed channel is watchable anymore. The guys who makeup the tv lineup must have been the voters. I am not a fan of F1 and have not watched a race in atleast 5 years, or even heard of this guy who won.

The judges had to be on the take, lol. Kyle was robbed.
|
What does Larson have to do, Vettel won't win 30 races in his whole career.Kyle will be a star for years to come. His awards are called wins and nobody does it better.

I think Larson has to win a race that has more eyes watching it than all of his 122 starts combined had.
Sad but true.

I think Vettel is good at what he does. That said it is supposed to be a performance issue, not a personality or popularity contest. Larson clearly out performed the other guys in wins and ability to perform in a wide spectrum of cars.

Larson had enough eyes on him to make the final cut and to get the most first place votes. They know who he is. That is what makes it even more of a sham. They can give the award to anyone they want, but they need to change the name of the award if they are not going to honor the actual top performer.
People on speed are always talking about how there needs to be more attention paid to and more opportunities given to the drivers coming up the ranks in America, then they pass over the most successful young American driver coming through the ranks over the past two years.

Sorry i don't follow F1 it's boring. Vettel has 26 career wins, Larson has won 58 in the last two,30 in 2012 Maybe your time would be better sent on a F1 forum!

You are preaching to the choir.
I think the SpeedTV thing is about how much attention the series gets. USAC and the lower tiers of NASCAR are considered lesser forms of racing. I don't agree with that statement but I think that is the prevailing attitude.
