Is this becoming the NAPCAR forums???? Who gives a FLYING F***! Nobody cares about Danica. She sucks at driving and does nothing but wreck equipment.

I've won as many meaningful races in the US as she has. Why do I need to respect her as a race car driver?
Real race cars don't have fenders...

Like her or hate her, she brings 2 things to the table that NASCAR is all about, money in the way of a sponsorship and publicity. This board right now is a good example, theres no other Nascar talk going on on here. And as far as field fillers, theres plenty of field fillers that start Spint Cup races every Sunday, its just that they don't have as nice of a rack as Danica does. I think the old saying fits "Don't hate the player, Hate the game"
Oh and good for Ricky if he's getting a little!

There is a ton of people out there to date, why date a fellow competitor? To me this is going to cause major issues. They are on seperate teams, driving for different manufacturers. All the money that is spent in research and developement is like top secret stuff with the different teams. They could tell one another, we did this and it didnt work etc. They say it wont affect how they race each other. I have to disagree, its easy to say but another to do. This will be the downfall of one of their careers. I would like to see Danica do well but this relationship is not going to end well. Dont get your honey where ya make your money.

Well, here is what she had to say to the people at MRN.
Patrick Confirms Stenhouse Jr. Relationship January 25, 2013 | 11:33 A.M. EST
Danica Patrick confirmed she and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. are in a relationship.
The Associated Press reported Friday that Patrick admitted she has been dating Stenhouse for some time.
"We are dating, and I know there's been a bit of a runaround this week at the media days and poor Ricky got grilled (with questions)," she told the AP. "It was out of respect to NASCAR, to all the manufacturers, the new cars, the teams, the sponsors, just to allow the news of the day to be about racing and not let anything interfere with that. So, it's Friday now, so that's why we waited until the end of the week to be up front about each other."
Ironically Patrick and Stenhouse will be competing against one another for Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year this season. Given their personal relationship, Patrick does not see an impact in how she’ll race.
"Obviously, we've been racing together for a couple years now, him and I have always gotten along, we've always had a lot of respect for each other on the track, there's never been an issue out there," she said. "I always say I'll race people how they race me until they do something to make me change my mind. I don't anticipate that changing at all, or us having any issues on the track."
Stenhouse Jr.’s team at Roush Fenway Racing has no concerns about the couple’s relationship playing a part in on the track competition.
“Again without going into anyone's personal life, I think anyone that knows any of our drivers personally knows that each has a racer's mentality," RFR president Steve Newmark told USA Today. "That they would wreck their own mother, sibling or significant other, to win a race. Our success as a multi-car organization stems from the fact that each of our drivers wants every spot on the racetrack, and one thing that we've seen is that they are always willing to do what it takes to get it.” Inquiring minds want to know..."Will this "relationship" last longer than either of their NASCAR CUP careers?????"

who cares about danica.i dont.when i turn on the tv for the daytona 500 and they start talking about stenhouse and danica im going to turn it off and turn on the radio. mrn and prn talk about the race at the track not the race to the motel room or the bus.i would rather here hammond talk about wedge or tire pressures.

Absolutely. Marketing tool at best, racer, no. Her mediocre good looks and vagina have carried her about as far as she can go, which is quite a way. I do not think it is a stretch to say 90% of racing people agree on her not being anywhere near the caliber of driver on that level. Involuntary repeated and prolonged exposure has made her despised by a lot of people and you can't blame them, it's like a really shitty commercial that keeps playing over and over when you're trying to watch something else. Oh wait... I might be on to something? somebody cough up the sex tape so we can publicly exile the poor lass and switch our focus to Dale Jr, 3rd generation shitty driver who needs to ride out the rest of his career in a street stock.
