Ferkel Racing would like to announce the new driver for Ferkel Racing! (We would like to thanks ALL that applied and made suggestions)
Please welcome JUSTIN HENDERSON!
You know Justin as the driver of the BW3 car the past couple of years! Justin will be driving when the season starts in florida next month.
Here is a little about Justin from his website:
Justin Henderson
Age: 30
Status: Single Hometown: Sioux Falls, SD
Dog: Zeus
Hobbies: Golfing, Paint Ball, and working on his El Camino Justin began racing when he was 5 years old in karts and then 4-wheelers before turning 16, and strapping into a sprint car.
Justin began racing IMCA 360 sprint cars near his home in Sioux Falls, SD after his father, Rod turned over the family car to him. Success happened quickly for the young Henderson as he finished top 2 in points at all 3 of his local tracks and in national IMCA points his 1st full year of sprints.
Justin quickly showed he not only had the desire to race professionally, but also the talent to do so. In 2006 the oppertunity arose to race with the World of Outlaws and Justin made the most of it by finishing 7th in points as a rookie out of 16 full time traveling cars. In 2007 the team struggled to find funding and Justin and the D1 team managed to finish 16th in points. Justin decided to return to local racing in 2008 due to lack of funding and continued to be the driver of the Dan Dan the SONIC Man D1 sprint car. As a driver, nobody is more willing to help a fellow competitor with driving advice or to help at the track than Justin is. Always a fan favorite, the mild mannered Henderson always has time to talk to the fans and sign autographs for them. The 2009 season will see Justin joining the PA Posse for the entire season. After ending 2008 season with Steve Miller and the 22z car, Justin decided to join the team for a full season of east coast sprint car action. In late May the oppertunity arose to join Pete's Motor Sports team and do a larger race schedule. The #25 team is planning to hit 40-50 races the rest of 2009 and will race semi weekly at Williams Grove as well as other local PA tracks against the some of the toughest drivers in the nation. The team also plans to hit any World of Outlaw, All Star, and Speedweek races they can. For the 2010 racing Season Justin will join the PA based, Sorokach Motorsports team. After racing a handful of times at the end of 2009, the team decided to hire Justin for the full 2010 season.
2010 Race Season:
73 races
1 Win
10 Top 5's
23 Top 10's
20 DNF's
Justin has over 50 wins in his Career including:
Has won races at 10 tracks: Williams Grove and Port Royal Speedway in PA, Knoxville and Rock Rapids in IA, Husets and Lake County in SD, Eagle and Rising City in NE, Worthington in MN, Cedar Lake in WI
2 -Time National Cheaters Day (Ethanol Race of Champions) 2003 & 2005
2005 Jerry Richert Memorial
2008 Knoxville Season Opener
2-Time Track Champion Husets Speedway
Track Champion Lake County Speedway
Set a record with a 6 minute and 29 second engine change in 2006
Runner Up finish in World of Outlaw Pit Crew Challenge in 2006
Holds 20 Lap Track Record at Knoxville Raceway 5:30.05
10th Place Finish in 2008 Knoxville DieCast Nationals

" You know Justin as the driver of the BW3 car the past couple of years!"
Here's a bit of advice for the Ferkel Racing P.R. person. Get your facts straight before you write them. Henderson drove the 82 car for maybe half of 2012 only.

Gosh! If you have anything to do with the 82 team Justin must be ecstatic he is gone.

Yeah really. Justin was the driver of the 35 in PA for a few years, and only with the 82 for a short period.

Out of everything Ferkel Racing posted you're upset about how long he was in the BWW car? I think they're just trying to promote their new driver. Honest mistake. Don't burn them on the cross.
do it in the dirt

First off, congrats to Justin on the ride and I wish them the best of luck!!
Speedkills, you need to re-read the press release. "Here is a little about Justin from his website:"
The information about the El Camino came directly from Justin's website. Get your "chit" together and know what you read before you spout off. It makes you look like an idiot.

It was a pure joke, I put the little winking guy hoping it would signify sarcasm. Did you honestly think that was a serious comment?
The jist of the press release is Justin is going to drive for Ferkel, I was making fun of how much of an asshole comment the other guy had to make on what was I'm sure an honest mistake.

The biggest surprise to me at least, in that press release was the part about Justin being single. He was married to that easy on the eyes Heather. I guess they're no more.
Cheers!

I'm pretty sure "BW3" was a typo that was intended to be "BWW"...look at a keyboard and notice how close "W" and "3" are to each other.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

Just an FYI......I have always thought it was odd myself.
The original name was Buffalo Wild Wings & Weck - thus the BW-3.

Do you wear your hair in a bun and use a red pencil to correct posts like some ol' school teacher? We're dirt track racers for cryin' out loud. Stop setting the bar so high!

They had a falling out a few years back. She wasn't just "easy" on the eyes if you catch my drift. ;-)

As long as we're picking nits, Justin Henderson was living in his hometown of Beresford, SD when he started racing Sprint Cars. He moved to Sioux Falls later.
Beresford is about an hour south of SF.
