Just looking at the box score....the 5D of Zaum must have put on a heck of a show. After a DNF in his heat he finished 2nd in his C and won his B before moving up to 12th in the feature. Should be good enough for a row 3 or 4 start in one of the B mains on Saturday.

I believe that the 4 drivers who finish 4th in their prelim features would start on the front row of the B's, 5th would be second row, 6th third row....etc.
If that is correct, Zaum should start in the 8th row of a B main on Sat....ahead of only the C main transfers Still pretty darn good for a driver that DNF his heat in such a huge field. No matter what happens on Sat, it sounds to me like he was the show on Weds.
