RPM Speedway Launches New Site; 2013 Updates Posted

TX (12/22/12) by DarinShort.com. The energy and the excitement of race
fans, race teams, sponsors and track management continue to build in
anticipation of the 2013 racing season at RPM Speedway in Crandall, TX.
And today the track is launching their new website.

to access the new website. There, race fans and teams can access the
latest in track information, such as schedules, rules, complete purse
structure for every event, join the track email club, pictures, video
clips, race fan welcome/info page, interactive directions/maps and much
more.
Track Promoter Jason Troutman comments: “Keeping in line
with our goal to provide racers and fans a top flight racing experience
from bottom to top, we want to keep them up to date on all of the
happenings at RPM Speedway. This new track website will allow us to
quickly and effectively get information in front of everyone.”
Jason
adds: “Fans will also be able to purchase event tickets in advance with
their credit card through the website, and drivers will be able to
register their cars, reserve pit spaces and pre-enter for upcoming
events; which adds a whole new level of convenience.”
Online
driver registration and reserved pit space requests for the 2013 race
season will take place on the track website at 8am on January 12, 2013.
If you have a specific car number or parking space in mind, please mark
this date so you can get the best chance of receiving it. Requests will
be fulfilled on a first-entered basis. RPM Drivers that registered their
cars or had reserved pit spaces from 2012 will be able to have first
crack of renewing, as long as they do so on or before the February 17th
open practice session.
The updated 2013 schedule draft is also
posted and available for viewing/printing. There are some additional
featured events and divisions still being added, which will be posted as
they become finalized.
The season kicks off with a jumbo-sized
event on February 23rd with the running of the $17,000 Grand Re-Opening
Blowout and Pre-Race Party. The party is open to all, and will take
place from 5-6:30pm with racing at 7. This is a USRA Modified national
points event, along with sanctioned RaceSaver Sprint Cars, Street
Stocks, Factory Stocks and Limited Modifieds. Complete event details and
purse are posted on the track website under the “What’s Up Next”
section on the homepage.
There have also been some rules updates in the Factory Stock division. The new site has the latest version of rules.
