That has to be Tim Green!
I use to have a picture of him with that style helmet in the orange 55 car at Knoxville totally side ways covered in mud!
It was one of the best picture's I have ever seen!

Tim Green 1979-1984 ..http://leejohnson.smugmug.com/SprintCars/Tim-Green-1979-1984/9506258_dxG5zx#!i=638563870&k=QJgsXBB
I saw Tim run both with and without a wing at Manzy, and of couse he showed up at the Copper World Classic as well. Tim could run with any of them, anywhere, and in most any type of car and be a threat to win.
I think it was 87 when Tim was badly burned at Madera in a Supermod during a hot lap session.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Tim Green was one of the only guys in the late 80's early 90's that could run with Brent Kaeding and Steve Kent, out west. (the big 3 in Ca during that time period) Tim would win with or with out the wings back then. One of my alltime favorite sprint car drivers(along with Brent Kaeding and Rick Martin from San Jose Speedway).
Now I enjoy watching Tim's son Nick race around California in the famous orange 14 car, along with talking to Tim Green at the Ocean Speedway races in Watsonville California.
