The Trophy Cup will have major changes to the format for 2013.

Qualifying will be ½ point per position instead of 1 point per position.

This change will put last place in qualifying only 40 point behind

The fastest qualifier. The other change will be no more non-qualifier heats

They will be last chance heats. 2 cars from each of the last chance heat

will transfer directly to the "C" main by points. and the winner of each "D" main

will also go to the "C" main. With this change, qualifying is not as important,

because a driver can make up point and move up to the "B" Main or "A" main

The non-wing show will use the same qualifying system. No more non qualifier heats.

The 2 mains will have 24 cars with the 1st "A" main inverting 12 and the 2nd "A" main

Completely inverted by points The 1st "A" will be 20 laps and the 2nd "A" main 40 laps.

The point portion of the purse for both race will be greatly increased.

The winged portion will be increased by 30,000.00 with the winner receiving 25,000.

And all other position increased with last in the "A" main to receive 2000. The reason

this is happening, next year was going to be my last year and I was going out BIG

with 50,000. going to the winner. The family and Trophy Cup Crew are going to continued

running the Trophy Cup after next year ( with me as advisor)

so we have decided to spread that 30,000 over the entire point total.

The non wing purse with also get a 15,000 increase. With the winner receiving

Over 5,000

.

MAKE YOU PLANS TO ATTEND THE 2013 TROPHY CUP EARLY, MANY

HOTELS ARE ALREADY BOOKED FOR NEXT YEAR. THE DATES ARE

OCTOBER 17,18.19. 2013

Happy holidays

Dave

is it still a matter of fact that if you were not competiting in 2012 that you could not run the 2013 race?

Ascot was the greatest of all time..

West Capital wasn't half bad either..

Life is good...
