Schnee is now making modified sprint cars like they were in 1960-1970. Is there a track raceing them?

I could be wrong, but , I think Brian built this for a customer that requested it ?, after catching some interest in the build im sure he is just displaying for other potential customers?, again I could be wrong?, I havent seen the piece since it might have been painted but would assume many of you on here would praise such a nice piece of throwback style with todays technology, anyway, nice whip!

Love the last photo on that page as he slides the car across the grass hits the cornfield cushion.

It would appear the car is for the US Legends Dirt Modifieds series; a series started by Ray Evernham and Bruton Smith.
The website is:
http://www.legendsmodified.com/index.html
Sorry ... unsure how to make this a link.

As someone else posted, the Legends modifieds are smaller than the Schnee cars. Also, the Legends car has a spec chassis that must be bought from Bruton Smith.
When the class was annoucned, I thought that they had it backwards. It should be a spec motor with unlimited chassis. However, if this was the case Bruton would not make any money in the deal.
Other than the track that Everham owns/promotes I do not know if these cars made it anywhere else.

Guys,
Brian built the car for me and a buddy. He took on the project with nothing more than my 1976 photo. The car is a replica of our 1976 b modified car we ran at Riverside Speedway. It is not a 100 incher or a dwarf. Brian took a non down tube 88/40 frame and modified it to accomodate the body, fuel cell etc. There are quite a few changes to make it work. We put a 350 motor in it and plan to go to a few vintage races and shows down here with it. There are several tracks that run these cars down here as vintage and several tracks want to run them possibly full time. This would be a great class to get going again in many areas. They could be the new 305 clas in many areas.
