Ambitious Summer Schedule for Kruseman Motorsports
JULY 3, 2007 --- Kruseman Motorsports is preparing to challenge the very best non-wing sprint car and midget drivers in the country this summer, competing in 22 events in 27 days. The team will field a pair of Kistler Mopar powered Bullets for drivers Cory Kruseman and Michael Trimble to wheel in both 2007 versions of the USAC Indiana Sprint Week and the Sprint Bandit Tour~N~Topless (TNT) tour. In addition, Cory will be driving for NHRA Champion Gary Scelzi in the USAC Indiana Midget Week series.

Following the July 4th Perris Auto Speedway USAC/CRA event, the team will be east bound and down traveling to the racing capital of the world to compete in the 20th Anniversary of Indiana Sprint Week. Lawrenceburg Speedway kicks off the 11-night program with back to back races on July 11th – 12th, while Gas City I-69 Speedway hosts another back to back on July 13th – 14th and the series continues at the Kokomo Speedway on July 15th. The final events will unfold starting on July 19th at Kamp Motor Speedway in Boswell and July 20th at Bloomington Speedway before concluding with the finale at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt on July 21st.

With car counts in the 70s and 80s, the first-year team is well aware of the preparation and luck needed to just make the shows. Cory was the 2002 & 2005 Indiana Sprint Week Champion and is the winningest driver in Indiana Sprint Week history, with 12 victories. JJ Yeley has nine, Dave Darland eight and Jon Stanbrough seven.

Drivers and crew will fly home to California for an 11-day rest period to catch their breath before boarding a plane to return to the Midwest on August 2nd. And rest they will need as, August will find the team running in 14 events in 16 nights in 7 States throughout the Midwest. Highlighting the 16 night mission will be a $10,000 to win event at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, IN) on August 4th, the $30,000 to win Ultimate Challenge in Oskaloosa, IA on August 7th, USAC Indiana Midget Week August 9th -12th and the TNT Tour August 14th – 18th.

Kruseman Motorsports will return to West Coast action on September 1st with the USAC/CRA sprint cars at the Perris Auto Speedway. Follow the team throughout the summer at the track or via the team Blog on www.kruseman.com.
