There was an '08 issue too. Production costs vs. income, I think, is why production was stopped and they went completely on-line. The internet has destroyed a lot of the past traditions as far as racing publications go................................. :>(

EC2BME, You might call Tom Schmeh (Curator) at the NSCHOF&M in Knoxville, Iowa. They MIGHT have extra copies they might be interested in selling. Their phone number is 641-842-6176.

A little history. I assisted in the annual for14 years. It was never put out to make a profit, but that was nice when it did. We just had to shut it down when the cost of producing became something we were losing money on even selling adds.
Also it was very time consuming and other ventures in life, like kids, became a priority.
All of the information that was in the annuals is on the website set up to take its place.
sprintsource.com
It was a good suggestion to check the HOF. I also have a couple of duplicates and will check that out.
Nice to hear people are still interested and the Annual was a true labor of love of the sport for Allan Brown, Doug Johnson and myself, Jim Harris

I think I may have the 1995 and 1998 Annuals that I would give to you if I can find them in my basement. It was truly a great magazine that started at $5 and ended at $5 if I remember correctly so there certainly wouldn't have been much profit for anyone. I was thrilled to get a couple of Cover Shots over the years, one of Kenny Jacobs in the Dan Motter 71, shot at Fremont, OH and another of Danny Lasoski shot at Cottage Grove, OR. I'll check this weekend and get back to ya'.....
