Just wondering if anyone from the Linder family would be interested in his car. I bought it from Gus and John Linder about 30 years ago. It's not a roller, but there's a lot there. I have pictures of it in race form on my web site. It's the car with the front of the roll cage angled back. It's located in SE Wisconsin.

Can you give some more details ? What all is there and price.
I have a lot of pictures of this car.
Just talked to Gus this past Saturday night. He and his late brother Dick were being inducted into the Twin States Auto Racing Fan Club Hall of Fame. He is 93 years old and still going strong.
Thanks

Gus Linder was my hero growing up in Western PA, especially when he was wheeling the Mickey Banas owned Ford powered black 69. Saw Gus win at Blanket Hill Speedway on many Sunday evening at the hi-banked quarter mile. Gus was also known to travel, and scored many wins in Central PA also, including Williams Grove Speedway. Never a quitter, he once flipped in hot laps, and also flipped in his heat race and was relegated to start at the rear of the field. You guessed it, he won the feature that night, and had the entire crowd on his side and on their feet! Glad to hear Gus is still kicking, and wish him nothing but the best! Great post and great subject, thanks!

Absolutely positively the toughest old school driver I ever watched run,he was the hardest man to get around ever, especially if leading,he was the champion of many western pa. tracks ,I could tell you tales about Gus and Mickey they were a threat when they unloaded anywhere, was he a dirty driver?, not dirty but that darn old 69 grew wider sometimes but to see him outright take someone out, never saw him do that but not too many leaned on him. Today, they would be similar to Dale Blaney 's deal tough is as tough does and Gus and Dales Dad had many a battle with those Trevis cars and both had tremendous fan followings.

It's missing hubs, spindles, manual steering, drive line, seat, and rear axle. There is a bunch of iron spare arms. The price is negotiable. Contact me at [email protected] for more info.
