"This Week in Raceway Video" takes us back 15 years to the 57th annual Turkey Night Grand Prix held November 27 1997 at Ventura Raceway in Ventura California. This is one of my personal favorites and one of the most exciting races I have ever seen. 24 midgets on a heavy, rough and rutted 1/5 mile is nothing but pure entertainment! The Video contains the 100 lap feature in its entirety

That was some good racing, I think I like the midgets better than the sprints, looks like they are a handfull, ........ thats the first time I've seen a fuel cell fly out of any race car, in any car race, good video,

That was pretty good! Was hoping Sills would win. Why is it Turkey night can't be at Ventura again?

The Usac races at Ventura will always be my alltime favorite to watch back 15-25 years ago. Thursday Night Thunder was awesome, live, watching Sleepy Tripp and Stan Fox rip around that little track.
