Great for USAC, not good to see another National Tour driver leaving the series...

Very smart move Brady. That series is a joke. Just wish JJ n steinhouse racing could of had there motor's ready so he could get out of that series and play with the Big Boys of sprint car racing every night! Oh well he will just dominate the weak compatition again. With brady gone now and Besides JJ the talent is very very slim. Good luck Brady and once again very Smart move!!

King of the West is not that high. I would put the IRA ahead of them.

Sorry for my ignorance, but I don't even know what the IRA is. The KWS is the Golden State Challenge/NARC just a different name. It is the same touring series as the Allstars but on the west coast. Nobody can come into there house and win. Just ask some of the outlaw guys and ascs guys.
If they are lower on the list, why does the WoO race in against them over two months out of the year?

USAC is above all but WoO. A guy who runs sprint/midget/silver crown fulltime, like Bryan Clauson or Tracy Hines can actually run about 70 races a year. A base USAC sprint/ silver crown race pays 5000 to win, midgets 3000 to win, with various 10,000 or 15,000 to win races.
IRA is a 410 Series based out of Wisconsin. The dominant force has been Billy Balog. I would not put them above KWS but I also wouldn't say KWS is the same as all-stars. I would put it on a footing with PA/Knoxville/ FAST.
I would also put ASCS National with Allstars. The caliber of drivers is similar. Putting it down that low is ridiculous.

Going to have to disagree with this order as well. Knoxville/Williamsgroves cars are higher up and as much as I hate to go with the possy I'd put them above the Knoxville boys. Besides the Kaedings and Allard the list for the most part ends there with guys who can contend around the country at any track. By no means am I saying the rest of the KWS guys can't drive but I think there are other series above them with drivers who can hang with WoO cars better IMO.

Agreed. KWS has a few great drivers, but the depth just isn't there compared with PA, Knoxville, FAST. I'd put KWS similar to their own CRA for the wingless cars. And no way in hell are they above USAC National in the pecking order. Larson left KWS for USAC, not the other way around. In fact, we have a ton of Californians now living in Indiana racing sprints. Clauson, Ballou, Justin Grant, Chad Boespflug, Damion Gardner....

I think the move probably has to do with other things. Driving for someone else compared to driving for himself.

Haha that's hilarious. Not knocking any region but that statement has no merit whatsoever. Even if the misinformed want to believe that the KWS series only talent is Tim Kaeding and Jon Allard (which its not) those guys are two of the best in the business no matter where they show up.

Yes like Meyers who came from KWS ?
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Curious to know his motivation. Seems he prefers non-wing over wing. Plus I'm sure there is advantage to running for someone else. Wonder if the ASCS pay structure had anything to do with it? I know they lowered their purse on a nightly basis to increase the # of shows, but for a National series to be running for $3-5k per night doesn't seem too enticing, especially as an owner/driver. I love the ASCS, but would like to see those guys running for more money. I wish Brady the best of luck as he goes back to USAC. He has proven this year, in the few times he ran with them, that he will be a force (sprint car or midget).

With his ASCS car he was the car owner and driver. Got to think being able to run someone elses car and not worry about the expenses was a major driver in his decision. Hope to see the mean green #69 in victory lane in 2013.
