As I suggested now that the season is over let's re-visit this topic. Anyone who thought she would amount to much more than a punchline to a bad joke still feel the same? I still think the dumb c$$t couldn't drive a straight stick up a goat's ass.

I wouldn't go that harsh on her... But I think we can all agree that she is in WAY over her head. Her talent level is no where near a Professional driver and sure as hell don't belong in NASCAR. Simple as that.
Only thing she could win on a national level is a go cart race.

Keyword sprint car, the driver in questioned has never raced a sprint car to my knowledge. Why is it a topic of question here.
The most important skill/aspect in racing is finding sponsorship. There's a hell of alot of great drivers who have won races in sprint cars, stock cars, Indy 500's, Formula One (champions) that do not have this skill and thus sit on the sidelines.
There are many talented (female) drivers that can not attain sponsorship. For whatever reason, the driver in question has this skill, and does not drive as horrible as some think. As good as Dario was, he left Stock cars, Juan has never really been that good either. Ine reason I did not mention this drivers name is I AM NOT A FAN OF HER. She gets way too much exposure for what she has accomplished on the stock car side or race track, but it's not her fault. She did win an Indy car race, although she did have alot luck to get it. She's a racer and also has the skill to generate money. Racing at the high levels in auto racing is a business. If you measure her skill for making a profit, she is more successful than 90% of the guys and gals out there.
But I reiterate, why are we talking about her in a sprint car general forum? These posts are the reason there is so much hate for her. If we were not talking about, maybe she would just go away. Instead, after one of the best chases in history, a brash drunk new punk is champ (mean that in a good way), a former champ crashing the guy 3rd in points, (now 2nd) and you guys want to talk about Danica? Whose the problem, Danica or the haters ??????????????

She is worth every dime she is paid until she's not. Meaning, if she keeps bringing the sponsorship dollars in, she can be paid every dime she is being paid. When she stops bringing in the sponsors, the money will stop. Simple as that. When did any of this have to do with talent? If it had to do with talent, Kurt Busch would be driving for Rousch, Hendrick or Gibbs. As it turns out, he is stuck in the only Nascar team in the world that is based out of Colorado. She belongs in Nascar for as long as she can get the backing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Danica needs NASCAR more than NASCAR needs her. For you tennis fans remember Anna Kornikova (sp?)???? She was a hot girl that played tennis but never won a single tournment. Danica is becoming the Anna Kornikova of racing. Yes she won an Indy Car race (acutally lucked into it), but until she proves otherwise, she's just a hot girl that drives a race car.

Please name the drivers who finished behind her on saturdy. What was thier problem? Can not drive? Tony Stewart racing has not had a great year. Check it out. Since you do not have a dime invested, Let Tony and Danica worry about it.

I think regardless of her performance she gets paid and has the guts to try anyway ,I think she should stay in Nationwide solidly until she either doesn't sell herself to sponsors or they cut here and she moves along to something else,I would pay to watch 43 Danicas race, not just drive, race. But,her in Cup,Not, not now,maybe never.

You need to recalibrate your chick meter. If Anna was a 10, Danica would be a 6 on her best day. Have you ever seen her in person ? I have half a dozen times. No bad looking at all just nothing above average unless you are including her bank account. Then she is a 12 !

She's still a sponsor magnet and will be appearing in the Go Daddy Super Bowl commercials. I've got a sneaking suspicion that she doesn't give a d*mn what us keyboard commandos on HH's think.

Technically, you are right. If you meant that she never won a singles tournament. She has won in doubles and was ranked #1 in the world at times in that regard. And she is still hot as hell! Way hotter than Danica could ever dream of being and I am a brunette guy. So she wasn't just a pretty face in the world of tennis.

Sprint cars were always one of the meanest race cars to drive. Tony Stewart still says they are. Now you see lots of teenage girls driving them, one of the traditionally worst driving demographics in America. The other, the senior citizen ranks, seem to be growing as well. Hopefully taking some tire away fixes it a little.
