Troutman Takes Over Reins at RPM, Sets 2013 Action Plan
Crandall
TX (11/9/12) by DarinShort.com. Longtime DFW businessman and racer,
Jason Troutman of Sunnyvale Texas, has reached terms on the acquisition
of RPM Speedway in Crandall Texas from Wesley and Pat Manry. The change
is effective as of today.
Details such as track schedule, rules,
purse, racing divisions and registration will be unveiled in the RPM
Speedway booth at the November 30th - December 1st Texas Motorsport Expo
located in Dallas Market Hall.
Troutman comments: “I’ve always
had the desire to be more actively involved in the racing community. I
am also aware of the massive amount of time and dedication area track
promoters invest to keep their facilities in operation. The opportunity
presented itself, and I am eager and committed to help provide racers
with a ‘racy’ racing surface and fans with a quality racing experience.”
He
adds: “I am teaming up with some key individuals in the sport that will
help to facilitate the changes and updates, and to ensure our action
plan is followed through.”
Troutman has a detailed plan,
including reconfiguring the racing surface and addressing other key fan
experience elements such as lighting and concessions.
The 2013
season will start off with a blockbuster Grand Opening Kick-Off event,
at a date to be revealed at the Expo. There are also plans to have a
point’s fund, with a revolutionary twist, that will have an exciting
race fan component never before seen.
All will be revealed in the
RPM display booth at the Texas Motorsport Expo on November 30th -
December 1st, so make plans now to stop by and speak with Jason about
the 2013 season at the all new RPM Speedway in Crandall Texas!
