Squeezed into the bottom of a turn on a small, tight track and loses the backside into the idiot who attacked him. That was the definition of a true racing accident (not one like when Swindell wrecks people with no regard for their place on the track) and yet he still gets upset. People like the driver smashing his helmet shouldn't be in racing if they don't understand that wrecks happen when clearly not intentional. Sounds like his family is just as pathetic as him cheering him on from the sidelines. What a classy group of fans and drivers.

heard he was already kicked out of cotton classic and trophy cup as the promoters returned his entry fee and told him not to show up. He has given many slide jobs for many years and never been dumped on his lid. In Gold Cup he tried taking out a car and ended up flipping himself...LMAO
Hopefully this forces him to quit racing if no tracks allow him to race. Do promoters really need someone like this on their track???

What that dude is pretty damn serious and if local officials see that, whether the victim desires it or not they will press charges. Hell high school girls soccer players get charged with assault for a lot less than that.

I won't support any event next year that also has that series on the card if Schank, his car owner, or the series (which are pretty much one in the same) don't publicly announce a firm position against what happened here. Just hoping it goes away isn't going to cut it for me. A press release of some kind stating a firm position against this and what is being done in response to it is long overdue at this point. I've been surprised before but I personally doubt it will ever happen. The people involved seem to me to be the "hope this goes away on its own" type.

I remember seeing a post by the track wanting to know the identity of the guy that comes in late in a black hoodie and bends down on the left side of the car. He comes into the shot at about the 17 second mark. He appears to mess with the car and as a result, the yellow car is pushed to the pits because it was tampered with and wasn't going to start. I'm guessing (to me anyway) that the guy in the black hoodie bends down and cuts the plug wires...more than just pulls them off as Jason Sides did to Sammy a few years ago. It looks like he has something in his had as he leaves and folds it down. I don't know if that issue was resolved by the track or not.

Why do I have a feeling that this will be on Tru Tv's World's Dumbest or Tosh.0. I have seen drivers punch another driver in the helmet, damage their car, make a fool of themselves in front of a crowd but this is a little over the top. I think someone might want to seek a little professional help.
