Now that Dave Blaney has turned 50 years old, do you think anyone will nominate him for induction into the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum.

I would think that he is more than deserving considering his career with the WoO and the big event wins he has including the King's Royal, Knoxville Nationals, Historical Big One, etc..

He should be nominated and elected on the first moment of eligiblitly! No questions asked!

Bobby Davis Jr should go in when he becomes eligible as well.

Bobby Davis Jr. is eligible, been retired from the sport for more than 5 years. Not sure if anyone has ever nominated him though.

I think both are more than qualified to be in the Hall of Fame as soon as they are eligable.

Davis and Blaney had most of their success with a Ford. It might be a while. Bud Grimm embarrassed EVERYONE in a place called central PA for 5 years and he's still not there.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Absolutely nothing against Bobby Davis or Dave Blaney, because both of them absolutely deserve to eventually be inducted, but Bob Williams needs to go in first IMHO.

Or how about another "Tiger" going in first.....Tiger Gene Brown from Arizona. Way overdue in my opinion. I'm beginning to think there is a flaw in the selection process since Gene Brown isn't inducted already.

I deffinately agree with Gene Brown as well as Blaney. Davis, maybe but he had a short career. Another one overlooked is Mike Peters. Mike, not only a great driver with a long successful career but a great ambasador for the sport and respected by everyone.

You're right about Mike Peters. The NSCHoF still has some "catching up" to do.

Bobby Davis Jr deserves to be in, as does Dave Blaney, Frankie Kerr and Richard Griffin, to name a few. Those guys aren't in, but Glen Fitzcharles is? Doesn't make much sense, does it?
