Does anyone have any information on the 305 head rule changes for Knoxville.
It is my understanding that they are going to a speck intake gasket and open up the head rule.

when you say open up the head rule you mean Alloy head or just any modification to iron head?
is the 350 block legal at knoxville next season?.

They announced at the final drivers meeting at Knoxville that they will allow the 3 inch stroke with the 350 block and the intake gasket rule, will sure make things easy for teching purposes ,so i guess the open head rule will not cause any problems..the Midwest 305 club have already officially approved both of these rules in a effort to help keep everyone in Iowa on the same rules

so you can do what ever you want to the head as long as it runs a certain intake gasket like ASCS gasket?
when will this rule be effective from?

maybe contact John McCoy @ [email protected] and ask the track directly instead of asking a message board
