USAC ParkerStore Hall of Fame Classic Kick Off Party Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (October 14, 2012) – The Grand Opening ceremony of the ARIZONA MOTORSPORTS HALL OF FAME and Open Wheel Exhibit will serve as the official kick off to the USAC ParkerStore Hall of Fame Classic set for Canyon Speedway October 26th and 27th.

“This is a way for the racing community to come together and remember the cars and stars of yesteryear,” commented Stroud. He went on to say “The exhibits are dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and displaying items significant to open wheel racing and motorsports history in the state of Arizona.”

Am I reading this right?
The new ARIZONA MOTORSPORTS HALL OF FAME and Open Wheel Exhibit will be closed on this Friday and Saturday race days?
Out of state fans will have to wait until next year to see it?
Some of us old goats (Capra aegagrus hircus) might not make it that long... lol

I get that.
But I'm disappointed that the museum will not be open during one of the few Big Races left in AZ.
Not much choice, come two days before the race or wait 4 days after the race to see it.

I'm sure you gotta be thinking on Kenny's behalf .
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Kenny, along with yourself and several other of the PAS regulars are it the Old Capra Aegagrus Hircus's classification I was thinking about.

Well you can hope Greg, but I'm afraid in this case hope just might not be enough.

Maybe you had better hook up him him so he can follow you over Randy, we don't want him to end up in New Mexico.

I spoke w/Steve Stroud tonight and he said that the store WILL BE open on Friday and Saturday. I believe he said the hours would be on Friday 12-4 and on Saturday from 9-1. I'm not 100% on the hours and I'm waiting for confirmation on the exact hours but I wanted everyone to know that you can go see the awesome display of racing memorabilia that Steve Stroud has collected. I was there tonight for the opening and the only word that comes to mind is AWESOME!!! It's a must see for any race fan, if you ask me. As soon as I get confirmation of the exact hours I will post them for everyone. Cya @ Canyon on Saturday.
RIP Chet and Mark. You might be gone but never will
be forgotten.
