WOW what a bunch of exciting races. That Christopher Bell was amazing. That pilot was so fast never have seen anyone finesse a car around the top at the speeds he was going. Heat races at 118 mph average speed is what they announced and then to see Jeff Swindell capture the lead on last lap. WOW . Super races in all classes what a show good job to everyone and the food was delicious and great to see such a good program.

Nothing like sprint cars on a fast half mile track. The speeds really get up there.

Sounds like fun!
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Definetly a great show on both nights. I was very surprised how well the track held up Saturday night and how fast it was. I was also very impressed with Christopher Bell. On Friday night I was sitting in turn four and the PA system was not working, so I had no idea who was in that car. I went down there after the races were over and saw a very young guy standing around the car, but I still didn't recognize him. I know who he is now! I hope to see more of him in the future. He was definetly very fast and very smooth. Hated to see the car break on him Saturday night.

We were also impressed with Christopher Bell. We did not know who he was, but knew it was Bruce Griffith's car. Went down and meet Christopher after the race and he is a very nice young man.
Christopher reminded me of the first time I heard of Dave Blaney, and it was at the Bowl, back when Blaney was driving the Lone Star Racing #2. He and Sammy put on a heck of a show that night running 1st and 2nd. We were all like Who is Dave Blaney, well the rest his history now and hopefully Christopher will have the same success as Dave has had.

For me, Christopher Bell stole the show. I didn't make it out on Friday, but was surprised when I saw the results. I have NEVER witnessed ANYBODY drive it in as hard as he did into turn 1 around the top. I was more than impressed and couldn't take my eyes off him the entire race, until he broke. That kid was flat out, elbows up, gassing it up all the way around!
Awesome finish at the end there, too! Plus the donuts Swindell did over by turn 2 were pretty awesome! Great show by the entire staff at Devil's Bowl. Love that place!
made alive.

We missed the donuts, we were unwrapping our blanket that we sat on. Did see him get up on the wing, which we knew, that was coming. Now have to be on the lookout for donuts when he wins again.

Ironically, I had that same thought myself. I was in the stands on the night that Blaney and Sammy had that incredible race. That one ranks right up there among the best I've ever seen. I sure wish that race was another five or ten laps.
