Rolling into Tulare on Thursday there will be many sprint car both non wing and winged to start 3 days of The Trophy Cup.
On Thursday the non-winged car will qualify , run a heat race plus a "D","C" or "B" main then the top 15 from heats plus 5 transfers from the "B" will start with a 10 car inversion for the 1st "A" main 25 laps. The 2nd "A" main will be completely inverted by points going 50 laps to determing the Trophy Cup Wiiner.
On Friday the winged cars will qualify with the top 48 making up the 6 quailfier heats and the balance going in 4 non-qualifier heats. we will run 2 "D' main "C' main "B' main and a 30 lap "A" main inverting 12 cars.
For the Final Day will run 6 heats plus 3 "D's" "C" "B" and the 50 lap "A" completely inverted by points with the winner of the Trophy Cup taking home $20,000.
This should be the best field of quality drivers assembled in California this year
A lot of passing will go on in the 3 days of racing if thats what you want to see BE AT THE TROPHY CUP.
Don't forget we have Fiesta Night after Friday night race and the spaghetti feed Sat at noon.
