Is there such a thing as an injected crate sprint car motor? I have heard that there maybe an engine builder or two making these. Just curious if these are being built or the idea is being thrown around.

Tim swankee out of Minnesota has done some. Husets speedway tried making a go of the class... Well I should rephrase that they allowed them to run at their track, but didn't try to make the class go.

RacerX20, just curious if you went any further with the answers you got on the sprint car body wrap question you asked a couple weeks ago. Did you contact anyone or decide who you wanted to go with?

I haven't had a chance yet. With a baby on the way, my time has been taken up a little more than usual. I am still very interested in finding a company to work with though.

Not sure this fits exactly what your asking about but this is one option out there for teams wanting to compete in certain regions/series with the 410s on a budget:

Schwanke Shortblocks in Springfield, MN has done a lot work on what it takes to put a crate motor into a sprint car. You can reach them at www.schwankeshortblocks.com or 507-723-4120. VERY nice guys to work with and can answer anything you want to know about them.

This might be an alright option for you 20x, if you haven't talked to Donny already about this you should. This is the motor he's been running in his yellow 15 car and I've seen him run right with the best of the All-Star guys with it, and I thinks he's put a good amount of shows on it.
