OCTOBER 13 VICTORVILLE RACES REMOVED FROM CALENDAR
Victorville, CA........The October 13 USAC Mopar Western Midget and USAC Western Ignite Midget races originally scheduled October 13 at Route 66 Motorplex have been removed from the calendar. The Mopar Western Midgets are slated this Saturday night at Petaluma (Calif.) Speedway and the Western Ignite Midgets will compete this Saturday night at the Stockton (Calif.) 99 Speedway.

I was looking forward to this event. The midgets put on a pretty good show at Route66Motorplex. This is beginning to stink.

It is a reschedule! We will announce new date soon. Not pleased with wording either.

I'm looking at the schedule for the USAC National midgets and the USAC Western State midgets. The next national midget isn't until November 9th in Peoria, AZ. That's four weeks away. The Western States midgets aren't scheduled to race until the Turkey Night Grand Prix. That's a pretty large gap in the schedule. It doesn't make sense. Whew, that was a close call. I almost put "USAC" and "sense" in the same sentence.
