First of all, outside of Cubes there was NOBODY in the stands this weekend that believed Paul was Posse so calm down about that, lol. He's just trying to get you all riled up and he succeeded again. Was Cubes even in the state of Pennsylvania, lol?
Here is the question though. Is it fair for the Posse fans to claim Michael Ruttkamp who hauls in to Williams Grove and Port Royal every week from Wilton, Connecticut?

I just get sick of MSPN doing the Alinsky method on the rest of us from PA and trying to make us defend Cubes' trollerism.

Wasn't sure about that. How about Rick Lafferty? Does he haul in from NJ every week?

Waa, waa, waa. For almost 20 years I have been showing stats to disprove the 'we are better than the Outlaws' crap, nothing more, nothing less, get over it.....

Dirthawk, let me answer your question with a question. Are Davey Heskin, Dusty Zomer, Mark Dobmeier, Ian Madsen, Don Droud Jr, Lynton Jeffrrey, etc, etc, etc Knoxville regulars? If your answer to this question is yes, then you have the answer to your question. As has been explained numerous times on this site, Jack Gunn coined the term' Pa Posse' back in the 70's to drum up excitement for the WoO shows scheduled at Williams Grove. Think of it as the home team vs the away team at any sporting event. ANYONE (regardless of place of residence) who raced at Williams Grove on a regular basis was considered Pa Posse. I understand fans outside of the central Pa area don't have the history and don't get the concept. I also understand there are some (1 or 2 in particular) who claim anybody who can beat the WoO are Posse. That mindset is in the minority.
As smitty 51 indicated, Ruttkamp resides in Liverpool, Pa during the racing season. Rick Lafferty does haul from Jersey every week, stays overnight Friday and runs Port Royal on Saturday before heading back to the Garden State.

I don't see how you can call Zomer, Heskin and the rest of the Knoxville locals that don't reside in Iowa as anything but Knoxville locals. They run Knoxville every week, therefore Knoxville locals.
No doubt, the Posse has adopted some drivers as right now in this day and age their "best" two are ex-outlaws in Pittman and Hodnett. I just don't think it's wrong to call them Posse because they are in fact Pennsylvania regulars. Pennsylvania doesn't "need" to import drivers as they have a bunch of talent like the HoF duo Rahmer and Lance and a bunch of great local drivers that race for their enjoyment like Leppo, Monteith, Dietrich, etc.

Exactly ....you don't have to live in Iowa to be a Knoxville regular and half of them don't, so you don't have to live in Pa to be a member of the Posse. Again..it's where you race, not where you live. Hodnett has been racing and living in Pa for 10 years or so. Not unlike drivers back in the day who moved to Pa to race..Steve Smith, Bobby Allen, and I think Richard Luppo from Florida and Van and Dub May and Steve Siegel from Texas. They came to Pa to race and decided to stay. I know Pittman would jump at the chance to get back on the tour if the right ride opened up (KKR?), but I think Hodnett is in Pa to stay.

This is too complicated for me. Here is how I am going to simplify it so I don't keep getting headaches keeping it all straight:
1. The 10-12 guys running the full WOO schedule are not Posse.
2. Kyle Larson is not Posse
3. Although from Pennsylvania, Tim Shaffer is not Posse.
Everyone else that wins a race against these guys, is Posse.
Doesn't this make it easier for everyone?

To me other than moving McMahan to true outlaw, this is perfect. I had 13 posse, 9 outlaws and 6 "other" in the 28 car lineup last night.

I've stated this multiple times on this board. No ones seems to listen.

Stevie Smith didn't run for all-star points. He hit big shows everywhere whether it be all-stars, WOO or unsanctioned. I think he should be in the true outlaw category. JZ is in a PA car and raced about half the time in PA this year(410 and 360) so I don't think it's too much of a stretch to call her posse. Sides ran nearly all of the WOO schedule and settled his dispute so I think he is WOO.

Who cares. 410 racing is 410 racing and if it's good racing, who gives a shit who's who.

Wait, this just in! I have found out from a source that Kyle Larson has now been claimed by the Posse. This gives The Posse an additional 20+ wins this year! Awesome year! The Posse is now the only 410 sprint car group to also have multiple pavement stock car wins too! I now see why they are considered the best in the entire world!

sounded like the car had some problems.
what happened fri with the front end? did kyle hit something or did the front end just break?
sounded like motor problems on sat.
not to disrespect the people who own the car, but to my uninformed ears it sounded like the car let him down.
kyle should be given some credit from the posse fans just for the effort involved in getting him there.
to indy and beyond!!
