Only one posse member in the top 10. What's going on? I thought the posse fans said the PA Posse was going to sweep the top 5 both nights.

After listening to 3 hours of constant droning by the posse cheerleaders (In the chat room) about how their drivers were going to dominate last night, all of the sudden at the end of last night, they didnt care who won Fridays race..

It's tonight that counts.. they say

We shall see..

The same results as Friday night would be just fine with me and congratulations Paul.Ironic,I think that both Paul and Greg drove for Dave in the Selma Shell car at different times,if I'm not wrong Stevie Smith drove that car some too,and they all end up eventually at the grove and are still at it ,very competitively I might add....sometimes its a small world, once in England at a race at Silverstone met a couple sitting six seats away, where were they from 7 miles from my home, very small world.

I noticed a lot of the cars that finished towards the back are PA regulars, what's up with that?

Looking back, that 9 race win streak the Posse had a couple years back was unthinkable and will not be repeated anytime soon. Looking up and down the pits last night, the Posse fans are forced to rely heavily on the 39 and Greg. Pittman barely squeaked in the show and Lance and Fred were DNQ's. Posse looked a lot better at Lincoln in May. Glad I came home this weekend. VERY good track last night. Props.

We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

3 original Posse locals in the top 17, a total behind the woodshed night for the most over-rated group of wannabees in the country and a big-time embarassment to their Cheerleaders in this forum, beautiful! Can't help it when Dummy starts posting even if he's hiding from this thread....

Saying they're overrated is going a bit far. They are the best group of locals in the country. With the new tire rule next year, you may see a brief return to posse dominance at the grove. Also, if that race is 30 laps last night, the one posse guy in the top 10 is also the winner.

Hahaha, typical posse fans. The drivers are usually pretty humble, the fans are over the top.

Guess I'll join in the good humored bantering.......May 14, 2009 Williams Grove WoO race

1 Gregg Hodnett Thomasville, Pa Posse

2 Cody Darrah Red Lion, Pa Posse

3 Stevie Smith New Oxford, Pa Posse

4 Dave Ely Sinking Springs, Pa Posse

5 Donny Schatz Fargo, N.D. WoO

6 Daryn Pittman Okie driver Posse

7 Todd Shaffer Millerstown, Pa Posse

8 Brian Monteith Phoenixville. Pa Posse

9 Fred Rahmer Salfordville, Pa Posse

10 Keith Kauffman Mifflintown, Pa Posse

11Jason Myers California WoO

12 Sam Hafertepe Texas WoO

13 Kevin Nouse Lewisberry, Pa Posse

14 Chris meleason Carlise, Pa Posse

15 Doug Eash Lancaster, Pa Posse

Ryan Bolke dropped out while running 2nd and Lance Dewease dropped out while running 4th or it would have been 14 out of 17 for the Posse.

If that's an over rated group of locals, I'll buy it any day of the week

Hey, my only concern was that the 51B have a better night than the 77 and the 1Z. Mission Accomplished.

I was at Williams Grove as well as 6 other eastern tracks 27 years ago. My first time ever seeing a big block modified at Rolling Wheels or something like that, then after being told they cost about the same as a sprint car was flabbergasted. Man them things are fast. But, even though I was born in North Dakota and spent several years in South Dakota, am I still considered a PA Posse member. Or is that just for race drivers who happened to spend a few months in PA?

Let's do this, any driver who has ever driven in a race in PA is a Posse member, then they don't have to keep trying to find ways to invent that makes everyone a posse member. PS walked into the Grove grand stands, took one look at that track and said to my wife "the guy who designed this track must have been drunk". Oddest looking track in North America.

Traveling driver in a Posse ride, I would say that makes him a "true outlaw" neither WoO or Posse. A draw. Lets see tonite....

If he stays in Pa. for a while, he could become "adopted Posse" like Hodnett
